Reviewing the Essar Power. Of the project and Preparation & monitor of the Overall Project Schedule using
Primevara/ MS Project.
Review and issue daily schedules of maintenance activities and ensure that work orders are entered on SAP, and
are executed according to priorities and resource availabilities.
Preparing major maintenance and turnaround activity plans and liaise with other operations, technical services
and maintenance units to monitor major shutdowns and turnaround activities until completion, in addition to
preparing daily shutdown progress reports indicating percentage of actual work completed against plan.
Monitor the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs and activities, as well as maintaining
the monthly planning schedule on MS-project detailing activity start and finish dates, equipment tag numbers
and other details.
Identifying and implementing all applicable statutory & regulatory requirements for project activities as per the
requirements of customer/ client.
Instruct the Project Engineers to start the procurement with respect to Drawing and Budget Verification Statement
(BVS).
Preparation of daily schedule with respect to the weekly schedule and review that on the same day evening with
Project Engineers and plan for the next day.
Preparation of Daily Progress Report, Weekly Progress Report & Monthly Progress Report and review the progress
of project with Project Management Team.
Arranging monthly review meetings with internal staffs and Clients to review the project progress & maximize
the output. Then plan for the balance works as per client demand & preparing the minutes of meeting.
Responsible for co-ordination & communication with Suppliers/ sub-contractors and controlling all project documents
(DCC) and coordinating of maintenance using a facility management (FM) and also by CMM .
Arriving overall Billing Plan as per L3 Schedule and cash flow chart.
Follow-up the monthly project expenses and compare with the budget every month.
Preparation & submission of monthly Invoices and follow up with Clients.
Maintain the master log file for Invoices in order to maintain the cash flow.
Responsible for other supplementary files as per obligation of Project Director/ Project Manager.
Recording the modifications works done with supplied drawings by client due to the revision & get approval from client
at the same time, in order to attain the additional contract value & final additional works Invoice.
Verify material requirements and equipment specifications and any other technical issues, as required, with
maintenance and other operations units in order to expedite the purchase of reserve stock materials.
Responsible for analysing the annual workload for field preventive maintenance from the
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the entire southern directorate,
Formulate plan and advise management on resources requirement.
Planning and scheduling of plant PM jobs and daily routine jobs related to Production Plant
Responsible for planning/scheduling Preventive, Corrective/ Shutdown maintenance activities.
Update the CMMS for purchase order generation, job completion, technical history, equipment
Movement, etc.
Checking Work Requests/ Work orders every day and discuss with Operation, Maintenance,
Inspection and Corrosion Department for the Priority work and Plan the job with Manpower and
Materials.
Attending meeting with Operation, Maintenance, Reliability, Technical Services, Engineering and
Inspection Engineers to discuss with long pending /modification and technical support jobs.
Programs the Preventive Maintenance Plan for facilities in all respective sections of mechanical,
electrical or instrumentation.
Optimising notification usage by linking them to existing WO where possible and create WO’s when necessary,
also entering estimates in SAP.
To prepare the work specification of PM&CM activities of static and rotary equipment’s for all
disciplines.
Attending Daily, weekly 14 Day Plan, 90 Day Plan and shutdown meetings with Operation &
Maintenance team.
Attending weekly scheduling meetings with Maintenance Coordinators and Production.
Assigning manpower resources, materials, spares & equipment to each maintenance activity.
Preparing weekly download for 2 weeks schedule. Issuing weekly plan, activity and manpower
forecasts and materials.
Preparing 90 days Plan and 1 year Plan (Preventive Maintenance) for the better utilising of Resource and
Materials.
Updating and follow-up of planned maintenance jobs in site.
Monitoring Closing of Work orders after the job completion with Actual Man hours in SAP.
Working closely with all Departments scheduling work orders from backlog due to lack of material,
resource and Vendor service.
To assist the QA/QC and HSE teams for complying the site procedures and site HSE plans.
Guide / advise the maintenance team to continuously improve / achieve Key Performance Indicators.
Support / Supervise sub-contractors & local community contractors and liaise with third parties for
special resources / services.
Liaison with discipline engineers to coordinate the resource forecast and identifies the overall project resource
requirement.
Preparing the weekly progress reports (with the help of daily report) and updating the progress percentage and
progress of the work (graphical representation S-Curve) to be signed by Construction & Project Manager and
submitted to the client and copied to Management as per agreed cut-off date.
To generate the two week look ahead schedule and handed over to execution team to achieve the target as per
schedule and also submit to client prior the weekly construction meeting.
To conduct the internal weekly meeting for progress measurement and inject the new things which need to
discuss during meeting & also highlight the causes of project delays and propose the mitigation plan to
management.
Prepare the weekly minutes of meeting with client / internal & give to project manager for review and circulate
to all action parties.
Responsible for activity progress reporting and regular update of plans and schedules.
Responsible for the Level-1 to Level -5 project schedule preparation, monitoring, reporting and generate the S-
Curve.
To prepare the Resources Histograms with respect to construction and loading the resources in the Primavera.
On regular basis coordinate with project engineer for change order of additional scope and site technical queries
that are impacting the project schedule.
Maximizing operations profit through using maintenance crew where it is more profitable than using
alternative.
