A. Objectives
1. Recognizing that magnets can attract some metals but not other.
2. Identifying and classifying magnetic and non-magnetic objects.
3. Knowing how to handle magnets.

B. Teaching Ideas.
Opening (5 minutes) :
1. Great the students on LIVE Meeting (Google Meet)
2. Introduce the today’s topic
Core (45 minutes) :
3. Open the presentation (Google Slide).
4. Show them how magnet work and the ability by video.
5. Give explanation about magnet such as the origin and the materials it made
of.
6. Show some different shapes of magnets.
7. Explain about the term of “magnetic field”.
8. Prepare the objects and begin the observation together with the students
9. Let the students classify each object that is observed.
10. Let them conclude the observation.
11. Tell them about how to handle magnet.
Closing (10 minutes) :
12. Question and Answer section.
13. Conclude the lesson.

3. Open the presentation (Google Slide)
4. Discuss the previous assignment.
5. Recall the previous lesson – magnetic and non-magnetic objects.
6. Introduce to nickel and cobalt.
7. Highlight that iron nickel and cobalt are three natural magnetic materials.
8. Tell them other metals that are non-magnetic and its examples.
9. Explain more detail about the term of “magnetic field”.
10. Continue the explanation about magnetic forces.

3. Observing how two magnets behave with variation of poles.

2. Introduce the today’s topic.

4. Recall previous lesson.
5. Show the arrangement of magnetic field by a video.
6. Tell them about the magnet’s poles and identify the pole part of different
magnet shapes.
7. Tell about magnetic force of attraction.
8. Introduce to the opposite force, magnetic force of repulsion.
9. Tell them the terms of “like poles” and “unlike poles”
10. Explain how two magnets behave when they face each other.
11. Support the explanation with a video.
