The initial luminous flux shall be not less than 90 % of the appropriate rated initial luminous flux of Attached Tables 1 and 2 for the lamps of coated white and thin film coated white, and be not less than 93 % of the appropriate rated initial luminous flux of Attached Table 3 for clear lamps. The wattage shall be not more than the appropriate value of maximum wattage of Attached Tables 1 to 3. 4.5 Life | When the test specified in 9.2.8 is carried out in compliance with the provisions of 10.2.2, the life shall be such that the individual value shall be not less than 70 % of the appropriate rated life in Attached Tables 1 to 3, and the average value shall be not less than 96 % of the appropriate rated life in the said ‘Tables. The lumen maintenance factor shall be as given in Attached Tables 1 to 3. No cracks of glass bulb nor loosening between base and glass bulb shall be found on the lamp at the end of its life. 4.6 Endurance of marking After the test of 9.2.3 has been carried out, the items marked on the glass bulb shall be legible.
