The chest is ventral to the shoulder, but the spine is dorsal to the shoulder.
The navel is medial to the elbow, but the hip is lateral to the elbow.
The mouth is anterior to the ear, but the back is posterior to the ear.
The head is superior to the neck, but the knee is interior to the neck.
The right breast is right of the heart, but the left breast is left of the heart.

After a median dissection, you are able to see the body's left and right sides in detail. In
addition, it also gives you the ability to see the internal surfaces of the body.
The frontal/coronal plane dissected allows you to see the front and back side.
You are able to see the upper and lower body after it is divided.
