Provide ventilation exhaust/Blower size 600mm fan capacity 290m3
/min. Number of blower required will be considered base on location.
Approved Confined Space Entry permit posted at the entry point .All
entrants will sign in and out of a confined space by signing in a log sheet.
Where multi point entries/exits a hole watch will be required for each
point of entry/exit. Entry and Exit log must be maintained in all
entries/exits. Method of Communication
Between various entry/exit points shall be discussed and agreed upon in
JSA. A trained hole watches will be stationed at each entrance/exit of the
opening of excavations and is accountable for monitoring entrance.
Foreman/Supervisor shall conduct TBT, explain about heat related
illness and syndromes, ensure that workers are understood.
* Temporary shed shall be arranged for rest.
* Cool drinking water shall be provided at work place.
* Do not allow anybody to work alone at high elevation use buddy.
* Stop elevated works when temperatures cross 50 degree.
* Advice workers to drink plenty of cool water with short intervals.
 Dress in twin wicking layer, avoid cotton because it holds the
moisture.
 Cover head you lose 10% of your heat from your head.
  Use Vaseline on your nose and cheek to prevent windburn and
chapping.
 You lose as much as 30% of your body heat from your extremities
wear gloves and socks.
 Never wear cotton socks in cold wet weather they hold moist
leaving your feet wet and prone to blisters.
 Stay hydrated, cold air also has drying effect which can increase
the risk of dehydration. Make sure you drink
