Start All Programs Microsoft Office

Microsoft Word 2010

When the icon of MS word is available on the desktop,

you can open it by:
I. Double Click
II. R.C (Open)
III. L.C (Enter)

Or we can open the MS Word by using Run window then

type “winword”

 Main Parts of MS Word

• File Button: This button is available in MS word 2010, and through

this button we can perform save, new, open command and other
several commands
• Quick Access Toolbar: This toolbar already includes few
commands such as: Save, Redo and Undo. But also we add more
other commands into this toolbar
• Ribbon: This interface consists a set of Tabs and Group of
commands. The Tabs are displayed as list of groups of commands.
• Note: By clicking on each Tab, the group of commands of that Tab
will be displayed

 Display & Hiding Ribbon Interface

• By double click on any Tab

• Ctrl+F1
• Or by R.C. on one of the Tabs then L.C. on “Minimize the
Ribbon”

 Quick Access Toolbar

• This toolbar is located on the left upper corner. This toolbar includes
these commands that are used frequently. Also we can add more
other frequent commands such as: open, email, print, and etc…
