Baile Latino
In Spanish, like in English, there is a variety of music and
dance. There are so many different styles and genres that
everyone will find music in Spanish that they will like.

Latino
• You will research a genre of Spanish music
and a style of dance.
• You will make a power point about your
music and dance to share with the class.
• You must find a song that is school
appropriate that is an example of your
genre, the song must be all IN SPANISH
• You should prepare a quick performance.
DUE Friday, Marzo 26 -It can be done in ENGLISH for No more than 2 minutes: sing the song or

 ON your power point:
• Slide 1- your name, your genre of music
• Slide 2- a picture that represents the genre and name of the genre
• Slide 3- describe (what instruments can be heard) the genre and put a picture
• Slide 4- what country did the music originate (put a map of the country)
• Slide 5- Write about the history of the music
• Slide 6- some singers or bands that sing that genre (list names and put pictures)
• Slide 7- attach a link of the music to the slide for the class to listen to it
• Slide 8- Write the name of the dance style
• Slide 9- what country is your dance style seen (put a map of the country)
• Slide 10- Attach a link to youtube so we can see an example of someone dancing
this style
• Add any information you find interesting about the dance.
• Present you performance of the song or the dance.
