1. SCOPE
This method statement is for installation of MEP Services and finishing work as set out in
specification, approved drawings, code and standards reference within the Project ………………
control Documents.

2. PURPOSE
The purpose of this method statement is to define the “Cabins Finishing & MEP Services”
through the guidelines contained herein so as to ensure that the job exestuation complies with
the requirements of the Contract Specification and guidelines to achieve satisfactory level.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager:

 The Project Manager is over all responsible for the Quality and Safety implementation of the
work procedure.
 The Project Manager is to ensure that the team of engineers and foreman are aware of this
MS and to ensure that all resources (Labor, Material and Equipment) are available to carry
out the work as planned.
 The Project Manager will ensure that all the required documentation to conduct the activity
safety has been submitted and approved by CSC and approved copies are given to the
responsible Site/Project Engineer.

The Project Engineer

 The Project Engineer is responsible for to carryout work as per approved MS. He is also
available and responsible to ensure adequate equipment for mobilization work are in the
place for prior to start the work. He shall ensure that all the employees are advised of the
method to be applied and shall be required to register his attendance on method
Statement.

QA/QC Engineer

 QA/QC Engineer is responsible for all the quality control drawings, inspection and quality
control work plan and arrange inspection as per client specification and approved standards
and procedure.

SAFETY Officer

 Safety Officer is responsible for all the health safety and environment issues
 Safety Officer is responsible to ensure all the approved safety procedure to work and
permit to work procedure is followed at the work place.
 Safety Officer is responsible for all the workers followed proper work procedure and proper
use of all personnel protective equipment.
 Safety Officer is responsible to ensure that all the approved safe system of work- MSRA,
Lifting Plan, Approved Work Procedure, PTW ets is available at work site and followed by
workers at work site.
 Safety Officer will ensure that only approved/inspected equipment with valid 3 rd party
certification is utilized at work site.
