BEAT THE TEACHER
1. Choose a few vocabularies related to the topic. (Revision)
2. Write lines to correspond to each letter on the board with a space
3. Draw a circle/oval on the board. It is a head without the parts (eyes, nose, ears,
mouth, hair).
4. Explain that the aim of the game is to guess the word before the face is completed.
Pre Lesson 5. Tell pupils to put up their hands if they want to guess a letter.
6. If they guess correctly, write the letter into the correct letter space. If they guess
incorrectly, draw one part of the head

Lesson
Development 1. Teacher shows a picture of the house and asks a few questions. (Q)
2. Teacher directs pupils’ attention to the picture in the book and ask them to guess
the content of the text.
3. Pupils read after teacher. (SR)
4. Teacher asks comprehension questions to know pupils’ understanding. (CQ) (SC1)
5. Pupils answer the following questions based on the text. (SC2)
7. Pupils compare their answers and check as a class. (AFL)
8. Teacher gives feedback.
