Topic : Angles of Elevation and Depression

Subtopic : 10.1) understand and use the concept of angle of elevation and angle of depression to solve problems
Learning Outcomes : Student will be taught to:

i) Identify

ii) represent a particular situation involving :

iii) solve problems involving the angle of elevation and the angle of depression

Learning Objectives : At the end of the lessons, students will be able to:

 Understand and use the concept of angle of elevation and angle of depression to solve problems
 apply sine, cosine and tangent ratios to find angles of elevation and depression.
 measure lengths and use measurements to determine angle measures
Previous Knowledge : The students have learnt concept of:
a) Pythagoras theorem
b) Trigonometry’s ratio ( sine, cosine, tangent )
