ABSTRACT

BRYAN ANJO BADOCDOC M., AJIE ABIT., LESLIE ABING F., JENNIFER

ACANG., “AUTOMATED MULTI-EVENT SCORING SYSTEM” (Eastern Samar

State University, Guiuan Eastern Samar, December 2018).

Adviser: Ms. Mary Grace June B. Gagatiga

Research Adviser, ESSU

Guiuan, Eastern Samar

This paper describes the development of an Automated Multi-Event Scoring

System based with the use of technology. The tradition type of scoring was mostly

use manual they have found it was accurate for them. But then the most commonly

type problem of this process was that biasing were completely or sometimes

possible. And commonly the processes of giving the result were too slow it was

absolutely because of the manual getting of total average of result.

The Automated Multi-Event Scoring System was design not only to present or

give score but it was also design to monitor every transaction the users wished to.

The project software was able store data’s given by the admin that were commonly

the asked profile of event contestants and of the judges of event. Rest assured that

the event competition judges were not prejudice in giving score for the admin would

only activate the specific criteria event it is to make sure that one of the event

competition judges would only score the present criteria event.

This paper had also discussed the effectiveness of the project software,

where researchers conducted survey tests to identify the Functionality, Reliability

Usability, Efficiency and Maintainability of the proposed software. And as the result of

the survey questioning it goes up to 4.46 total mean averages which had the

interpretation of Very High Acceptability.
