Social Isuue Who are affected by the issue Why do I want to address this issue
1. garbage  Everyone in the community  Garbage collectors are paid from the taxes that was taken by the government
from the citizens of the Philippines yet, they are not doing the task that they
collection
are required to do. They should have a regular garbage collection for every
baranggays so that it won’t pile up and eventually be a nuisance to everyone.
2. Improper waste  Everyone in the community  Most of the waste that we improperly dispose are plastics and it takes a very
disposal long time before it undergoes decomposition. That’s why we should have
more self discipline and throw our garbage in the proper places such as trash
cans.
1. Floods  Everyone in the community  Due to the recent Typhoon that passed Philippines, most of the places in
Luzon are flooded due to the heavy rains. It can destroy properties and also
the lives of many people and animals.
1. Drugs  Police Officers  Extrajudicial killing have been rampant since the reign of President Duterte.
 Government Officials A lot of lives have been taken, may it be the person involved in illegal drugs
 Drug Addicts or an innocent person. I believe that this would not happen if only these
 Drug Pusher cases were taken to the court and passed through a proper process of
 People who takes illegal drugs jurisdiction.

Internet speed.  Students  We live in the information age. To achieve economic growth, one must have
 Business People the tools to connect to the world. This is the reason why the Internet must be
improved. The problem with slow internet is that it not just hampers those
who use Internet for casual purposes, but also for business purposes.
Education can also be limited because the advantages derived from massive
open online courses (MOOCs) might not be felt.
Traffic  Commuters  Because of the road construction in some of the places in Roxas, the roads
 Travellers have been more congested. I hope that they would make an alternative route

Poor healthcare  Everyone  unfair and unequal access to health services that significantly affects the
poor.
Healthcare in the Philippines suffers from a shortage of human medical
resources, especially doctors. This makes the system run slower and less
efficiently.
Increasing HIV/AIDS  The country  Aside from abstinence and natural methods, the government then started to
