LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Learning Approach: Discovery Learning
Forms of Activities
Introduction ( 5 minutes )
 Students are asked to mention some examples of carbon copound in daily
products.
 Students are asked to explaining the characteristic of carbon compound.
Main Activities
 (3 minutes) students are asked to made a groups, each group contains 5 members.
 (10 minutes) Each group would be assigned to discuss on the following topics:
 Identifyimg structure and determine nomenclature of carbon compound
 Knowing character of carbon compound
 Knowing the isomer of carbon compound
  Understand usability of carbon compound
 (7 minutes) Each group should write article of carbon compound
(structure,nomenclature, isomer and usability) based on their discussion before
by their concept.
 (2 minutes) fellow groups exchanged their articles.
 (8 minutes) Teacher asks each group to evaluated the article of another group,
looking for differences and give comment.

Closing the Class (10 minutes)

 Teacher guided students to make their conclution of their article.
 Teacher asked students to record the conclusion of the article of all groups.

Relevant printed material or information downloaded from internet.

Chemistry books that contain information of stucture, nomenclature, character,
