    ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
    SERVED AS YOUTH ADVISER/COORDINATOR
    OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY AND KABATAAN OF BASUD

    In my life I’ve learned that true happiness comes from giving. Helping others
    along the way makes you evaluate who you are. Being able to help is a privilege for us teachers
    for it teaches us how to become concerned to those who are in need, it helps us to understand
    the spirit of compassion and to share what we have to and abolish the selfishness hidden deep
    within us.
    As a former two term Barangay Kagawad and a one-term SK Chairman the love
    to give service to my community where I am also teaching is strengthen and deepen. Even
    without the request of our Punong Barangay Antonina Guarte to help them on preparing and
    creating projects and programs that are vital to the youth I will still do and act for that is already
    in my heart to serve the people of Barangay Basud.
    The following programs and projects were realized in the year 2016-2019 where I
    served as youth adviser/coordinator:
    1. Gift Giving and Feeding Program
    2. Conducted the Gender and Development Forum/Seminars
    3. Youth Empowerment Seminar
    4. Free Tutorial Service in Academics (Math Subject)
    5. Youth Encampment Activity
    6. Organization of Youth Leaders
    7. Christmas Activities
    8. Assisting Day Care Programs
    9. Incentives for honor pupils
    10. Relief Operations during and after typhoon
    11. Sports related activities such as Basketball and Chess
    12. Technical Working Group on Barangay Anti-Drug Campaign
    These activities also taught me a lot of good things; to be a stronger teacher and
    leader of the school and community, care for the people around me and this makes me realize
    the importance of service no matter who you are and what you can give. This gives me also the
    idea that even in a little way or things on what you do to your community have a great impact in
    their lives.
