Factory Workers

Factory worker is an employee. They are people who make some money. They work, usually
eight hours every Monday until Friday in a factory. They work until a month, so at the end of
month, they have salary from their factory.

Elementary School Teacher

Teacher in elementary school does not has much money, because she or he just teach their
students five hours every Monday until Friday. They teach their students patiently and always
give smile, so that the student always spirit for study. Usually teacher in elementary school,
get salary early a month. They have a lot of experienced in their life.

Corporation President

Corporation president is hard workers, they are crazy about work. For example businessman.
A businessman always work until they reach their wish. They spent their time in office, they
can give salary with their employee. They make a lot of money for themselves and each other
who work for them. In their mind, time is money.

Librarian

A librarian is someone who stay and guard in library. Thay have a lot of knowledge, because
they can read a lot of books every day. A librarian like a teacher, they work part time. In
Indonesia, a librarian sometimes’ someone who ever school in that school. He need job, who
can make his get a lot of knowledge but just work for part time.

The Work Ethnic

Work ethnic motivated people for work hard, because work hard make someone get
successful. The immigrant from England bring the work ethnic in American’s life. The
American people are materialistic and just think about biggest profit. They should work hard,
diligent, responsible, and honest. American for the youngest, already know about work. The
beginner, they already learn to make money. American people thinks, work’s more important.
If we have a lot of money, so we get reward.

The Dream to The Future

American people belief, if they get reward in work, they get a successful. The American
belief, if they smart, work hard, responsible, and honest, they become the successful and raise
their dream in their life. We can see the American dream in a festival, like American Idol,
etc.

Rewards and Job Satisfaction

In American, the manager really care with their employee. If the employee has good job, the
manager bring the reward or promotion. They get job satisfaction. In American, the manager
is open with their employee. It is different in Indonesia. In Indonesia, the manager and
employee is very close and subjective value.

Workaholics

Workaholic describes someone who crazy about work and like to drink alcohol. In negative
meaning, workaholic like that. When the people work until middle night and then they lazy
back to their house, sometimes they come to the saloon or cafe for relax and socialization. In
positive meaning, workaholic like people who work hard then, they stay in office until night.
Sometimes they sleep in their office until finished their work. That is different in Indonesia.
People in Indonesia, delight in pending their work for the next time, so they have a lot of job
in the next day. It is so bad, because we will confusing about that and not concentrate for our
work.

Leisure and Socializing

American style for workaholic, they almost not have leisure for socializing. They spend their
free time for hangout in cafe or saloon, that is very negative style. It is different in Indonesia.
For several people in Indonesia have a lot of free time, for example the house wife.
Sometimes after she enough for cooking and preparing breakfast, she meet with her
neighbour and then she talking about someone, they are gossiping. It is bad activity. They
should do positive activity, like changed idea bout cook, study about their religion, etc. They
are many positive activity for the leisure.
