Good morning mom, good morning friends, thank you for the time you have given me,
my name is Komang Elly Merlina, Nim 183212875, here I will make a speech on the topic of
HIV AIDS, listen please.
As we all know, AIDS is a disease that has no cure and there is no vaccine that can prevent
HIV virus attack, so this disease is a disease that is very dangerous to human life both now and in
the future. HIV (Human Immuno-Devesiensi) is a virus that only lives in the human body, which
can damage the human immune system. AIDS (Acguired Immuno – Deviensi Syndromer) is a
collection of symptoms of decreased symptoms of immunity against external disease attacks.THE
DANGERS of AIDS People who have been infected with the AIDS virus will be carriers and
transmitters of AIDS throughout their life, even though they do not feel sick and look healthy.
AIDS is also said to be a dangerous disease because until now there is no drug or vaccine that can
prevent the AIDS virus. In addition, people infected with the AIDS virus will feel mental pressure
and mental suffering because most of the people around them will isolate or stay away from them.
And the suffering will increase again due to the high cost of treatment. Another danger of AIDS
is a decline in the immune system. So that the attack of diseases that are usually harmless will
cause illness or even death. HIV is not transmitted or spread through ordinary social relationships
such as handshakes, touching, kissing, hugging, use of eating and drinking utensils, mosquito bites,
swimming pools, using the same bathroom or toilet or living in a house with a person living with
HIV / AIDS (PLWHA). PLWHA, namely people with HIV or AIDS. Meanwhile, OHIDA (People
living with HIV or AIDS), namely family (children, wife, husband, father, mother) or friends with
HIV or AIDS. symptoms of people with AIDS: 1. Body weight decreased more than 10% in 1
month 2. Chronic diarrhea that lasts more than 1 month 3. Prolonged fever more than 1 month 4.
Decreased consciousness and neurological disorders 5. Dementia / HIV encephalopathy Minor
symptoms: 1. Cough lasts more than 1 month 2. Generalized itchy dermatitis 3. The presence of
multisegmental and recurrent herpes zoster Management There is no cure for AIDS so what is
done is prevention as previously explained. But if infected with HIV, the treatment is: 1.
Opportunistic infection control 2. AZT (Azitomidine) Therapy 3. New antiviral therapy 4.
Vaccines and virus reconstruction, the vaccine used is interveron 5. Avoid other infections,
because the infection can activate T cells and accelerate HIV replication. 6. Rehabilitation aims to
provide mental-psychological support, help transform high-risk behavior into less risky or non-
risk behavior, reminds us of healthy living and maintains healthy living conditions. 7. Education
to avoid alcohol and illegal drugs, eat a healthy diet, avoid stress, lack of nutrition, drugs that
interfere with immune function. This education also aims to educate the patient's family on how
to deal with the reality when a child has AIDS and the possibility of isolation from society.

So HIV aids must be taken seriously. We must recognize the signs and symptoms of HIV
AIDS so that we all avoid this dangerous and deadly disease. Thank you so much for listening.
You are all good listeners. thank you
