GRADE 3

NARRATIVE REPORT

The wellness program aims to give high emphasis on the development of everyone’s healthy
life style through proper nutrition and physical fitness specially during this time of pandemic. With this,
starting the first week of March 2021 of school year 2020-2021, the Grade 3 teachers of Rene
Cayetano Elementary School conducted an integration of some important lessons about hygiene,
healthy habits and waste segregation in their everyday meetings with their students on their on-
screen classroom discussions. The activities were facilitated by the Grade 3 Teachers headed by
Mrs. May M. Pablico the chairman, Mr. Nelson Encabo, Mrs. Roda B. Galang, Mrs. Gladys Y. Torres,
Mrs. Geraldine Tizon, Mrs. Evelyn M. De Guzman, Mr. Jim Boy S. Malanog, Mrs. Evelyn B. Pontica,
Cherry Anne T. Tallon, Marissa S. Lamanilao, Joan A. Ronquillo, Mrs. Rowena P. Regalario, Mr.
Jason Palambergo, and Mr. Jose Maria Galang. 

Before Physical Education classes start, the students were asked to perform the wellness
dance, for them to be physically fit even if they are in their own home. In Arts subject, they were given
a chance to make arts crafts using non-biodegradable materials. In Music, they sang happy songs
that promotes mental health. In Health subject, they were educated about staying health though
proper nutrition and exercise. In Araling Panlipunan, English, Filipino, MTB-MLE and Mathematics
subject, springboard that includes wellness program was integrated during presentations of each
lesson.

The discussion run smoothly. Everybody are participative and happy. Indeed, the activities and
lesson integration was productive, meaningful, useful and a success one.
