presently not available for Sunshine Project. engagement of 99 labours on 22nd Jan,2020 for issuing Form 5 for labour
registration. SIL requested to provide them LOI in hard copy.

3 Insurance Policy MDM advised to submit all the insurance policy as per provision MDM SIL will provide the submission date in the next week as it is related with the SIL To note

Labour Hutment Inspection for ESG compliance:

1. Display of hutment area to be exclusively done for Sunshine only. It should not be mixed up with workers of Grand one.

2. Minimum floor space to be (4 - 5.5) met2, to be ensured, and complied.

3. Minimal volume per resident to be (10 -12) met3, to be ensured, and complied.
4. Minimum ceiling height of 2.1 meters to be ensured, and be complied.

5. Mobile partitions or curtains to be there for ensuring privacy and to be ensured, and complied. It remained non complied.
6. Minimum space of 1 meters between beds to be to be ensured, and complied. It remained non complied.

7. Double deck bunks are not advisable, but if used, space between lower and upper bunk of the bed to be 0.7 – 1.10 meters. Triple deck bunks are strictly prohibited.

8. Separate storage areas for workers PPE’s including helmets, boots, etc. to be ensured, and complied

9. Instead of Bamboo, pipe should be used in the hutments, from safety perspective.

10. For toilets, 1 unit for (6-15) persons to be ensured, and complied

11. For urinals,1 unit for 15 persons to be ensured, and complied

12. For showers / bathing purpose, 1 unit for (6-15) persons. Bathing outside, from common vat is strictly not allowed, as we saw yesterday at site.

13. Toilets should be well lit, cleaned regularly, ventilation proper (or external window), sufficient illumination outside and inside. It was not complied as per our visit yesterday.

14. For personal hygiene, it is needed to provide facilities to wash both work and non work related clothes. Laundry facility should be given. It should be ensured and complied.

15. Drinking water to be periodically tested (say on quarterly basis) through NABL Accredited laboratory as per IS 10500:1991 standards, and submitted to us. Bacteriological parameters
like Faecal coliform, Total coliform, and E Coli should also be strictly monitored and reported to us.

16. Specific containers for rubbish / solid waste collection are to be provided and emptied at a regular basis. Adequate number of rubbish containers to be ensured. Each unpleasant
odours. Rubbish container to be located at 30 metres distances from each shelter on a wooden, metal, or concrete stand. Such containers must be emptied at regular intervals to avoid

17. For cooking area, good standard of hygiene is expected and should be complied. It was not complied as per our visit yesterday

18. Dirty and wastewater should not be allowed to accumulate just outside the premises of the labor hutments, which can give rise to birth of mosquitos spreading Malaria and Dengue.
The existing dirty water should be immediately de-watered, as was discussed yesterday.
19. For snake bite prevention, Carbolic Acid or Foratox is to be regularly spread, and a log sheet to be maintained for that.

20. Pest control / Pest extermination / vector control and disinfection are required to be periodically carried out in the premises. A log sheet to be maintained for that.
