Soliloquy
The art of capturing a character’s essence
and expressing that character’s emotions is a
craft perfected by few. Soliloquy is a mono-
acting event that acknowledges such craft.
The monologue can be original or inspired
by a movie scene, a dialogue from a known
book, all of it based on a social message.

The duration of the video should be a
maximum of 2.5 minutes.
The language used in the video can be
English or Hindi.
The video should start with a maximum
30-second introduction of the participant,
including the name, participant number,
name of the NSS unit, name of the topic.
Any editing or dubbing of the video is
not permitted.
The act should not be plagiarised in any
form or the entries will be directly
disqualified.
Participants must send their video on 8th
April by 3.00 pm via a google form
which will be circulated.
The pre-submitted video will be played at
the live event.
Other Instructions:
The video should be of good sound and
video quality.
The video should include the participant
fully in the frame and should be shot in a
single take in landscape mode only.
Use of unparliamentary, obscene, vulgar
language or profanities, will lead to
direct disqualification.
Personal or religious attacks or any
offensive comments will lead to direct
disqualification.
The judge’s decision will be final and
binding.
Chase the Cut
‘Chase The Cut’ is a short video-making event
where you can express yourself and display
your ideas for the world to witness. Pick a
topic of your choice and let your creativity
flow while simultaneously addressing an
important social issue.

Participants must send their video on 8th
April by 3.00 pm via a google form which
will be circulated.
The Video should not exceed 3 minutes.
Video will include: Participant Name, Name
of the NSS unit and Name of the Topic.
File size should not exceed more than 150
MB.
The pre-submitted video will be played at the
live event.
The video should be original, any plagiarism
will lead to disqualification.
Submissions must not include any
endorsements of products or services, or any
obscene, violent, racist or defamatory content.
Spill the Ink
If you’re someone who finds writing poetries
as a source to express yourself, ‘Spill The
Ink’ is the event for you! Grab a pen and
paper and let your voice be heard as you
strike a conversation about the social subjects
that are very relevant in our time.

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and


may lead to disqualification.

The Judge’s decision will be final

unparliamentary language will not be
tolerated and will lead to direct
disqualification.
Rules for Round 1:

1. Bravery shown by the Frontline workers
during this Pandemic.
2. Women Empowerment

Poem should be of maximum 5 verses


with 5 lines per verse and submitted in a
PDF form. (file size: maximum 10 mb)

The PDF should include:


1. Participant Name
2. Participant Number (will be alloted)
3. Name of the NSS Unit
4. Topic chosen
5. Title of their poetry
6. Poetry

Participants must submit their work by


8th April, 3.00 pm. A Google Form will
be circulated for the same.
Rules for Final Round:
1. The Final Round will be conducted on MS
teams. Participants have to download and
install the App on their respective devices.
2. Participants need to check that their
webcams and mics are on and working
properly.
3. Participants shall be responsible for their
own internet connectivity. The organising
committee will not be accountable for poor
connection on the participant's end.
4. Topics for the final round will be given on
the spot.
5. Participants would be given 60 minutes to
write and submit their poetries. A google
form will be circulated for the purpose of
submission.
6. Once the submission is done, each
participant will be alloted 2 minutes to
recite their work.
Lets Face It
Art is not only what you see , but also what
you make others see . ‘Let's Face It’ is a
Face Painting Competition where you get to
show us your creativity by ditching the paper
for once and using the face as your canvas.

Event type: Team of 2 (Artist and the


person whose face is to be painted)

Number of Rounds: 1

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes


Rules:
1. The topic will be given on the spot.
2. It will be a live event on MS Teams and
participants have to keep their cameras
on.
3. Participants will have to share pictures
once completed.
4. Participants will be allotted a number,
the same has to be put on the picture
before submitting. Apart from that, no
editing of the picture is permitted.
5. Submission will be via a google form
which will be forwarded at the time of
the event.
6. Use paint that is not harmful to human
skin.
7. Strictly stick to the theme of the event,
failing to do so will lead to negative
marking or disqualification.
Rhythm in Motion
Break the cycle of social prejudice and let
the rhythm of your dance moves speak for
your values. Submit your entries and flaunt
your dance moves while your heart speaks
what you stand for.

for introduction and 2.30 seconds for the
actual performance)

2021 by 3.00 pm via Google forms
which will be circulated.
The file should be renamed as
‘CollegeName_ParticipantName'
11. Judge’s decision will be considered final and binding.
Maximum File size allowed is 150 mb.
Participants are free to choose any dance
form and props.
The song selected must not have any
profanities.
Video should be in landscape mode, shot
in single take without any editing.
Routine should be original and not
copied otherwise it would lead to
disqualification.The pre-submitted video
will be played at the live event.
Olympics
Although the Olympics didn’t happen in
2020, we at Advitya are excited to bring
you our version of the Olympics. The event
includes a variety of interactive mini-games
that will keep you at the edge of your seats.

Event Type: Teams of 5


Rules:
The event will be held on the MS Teams
Platform.
Participants are advised to join the event at
least 15 mins prior.
Participants must check that they are in a quiet
place to avoid background noise.
Cameras should be on throughout the event.
Your device should have a speaker,
microphone, webcam, headset enabled.
Participants are advised to keep their devices
fully charged.
It must be ensured that the frame at an angle
where expressions and all body movements are
clearly visible.
Any kind of obscenity, misbehavior or
vulgarity will lead to immediate
disqualification.
Antarchakshu
Antarchakshu is a unique sensitisation and
awareness workshop conducted by Mr Krishna
Warrier of Xavier's Resource Centre for the
Visually Challenged ( XRCVC) that explores
the world of differently-abled people
The event will be interactive and will
stimulate participants to reflect on what they
can do to promote inclusion, with insight,
understanding and basic facts about the lives
of the visually impaired, and see the world
from their point of view
Guidelines for the Workshop:
As far as possible, kindly use a PC or laptop to
log in. Unless there is no alternative, do not log
in with your phone as you will require the phone
for other related activities during the session. If a
laptop or PC is not available, YOU MAY LOG
IN WITH YOUR PHONE.
Sit in a closed room in front of your laptop or PC
for the entire session. If a closed room is not
available, you may sit in any room where you
are least likely to be disturbed.
Keep a handkerchief / napkin / towel ready as a
blindfold.
Keep the following objects ready next to you
within hand’s reach.
1. Your wallet/purse.
2. Two blank sheets of writing paper and a pen
3. A plastic bottle filled with drinking water and
shut tightly
4. A steel or plastic glass
5. Your mobile with charger
General Rules
Participants are requested to download and
install the MS teams App on their
respective devices.

Only the CL of the concerned NSS unit


shall register on behalf of the
participants through the links given in
the brochure.

On day or on the spot registrations will not


be permitted. Last-minute entries will not
be entertained.

Please ensure that Adequate internet


bandwidth is available. ·The organizers are
not responsible for any kind of technical
issues from the participants’ end.
Engaging in an undisciplined, obscene or
indecent act of any form is strictly
prohibited and will lead to direct
disqualification.

Inappropriate remarks of any form be it


political, religious, social or sexual will
lead to disqualification.

Plagiarism in any form be it written, audio


or visual and use of any unfair means will
lead to disqualification.

All the personal details mentioned while


registering should be true and fair, failing
to which will lead to disqualification.

Any display of aggression against the


guests, judges, faculty members,other
contingents or the organising committee
will not be tolerated.
