Teaching Experiences
Chappelow K-8 Art Magnet School
Greeley, CO Spring 2021
• Student teaching for 16 weeks. Designed and taught 5-7 classes per day from kindergarten to 8th
grade, collaborated with teachers within the school, and fulfilled temperature checking duty.
• At the elementary level taught content including locomotor skills, jumping and landing, jump ropes,
cardio drumming, mini golf, gymnastics, and non-traditional manipulative skills such as hula-hoops,
wands, and scoops.
• At the secondary level taught content including stress management, components of fitness, heart
rates and heart rate zones, lifelong activities, badminton, pickle ball, and hockey skills.
Platte Valley High School
Kersey, CO Fall 2020
• Designed and taught a weeklong rugby unit in both lecture and outdoor settings to a Freshman PE
class. Designed activities to teach cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills related to rugby.
• Created a pre and post cognitive rugby test, which the students completed at the beginning and end
of the unit to demonstrate knowledge of rugby gameplay, strategies, and officiating.
Jackson Elementary School

• Designed and fully planned out a unit on short-handled striking skills, but was unable to teach it due
to Coronavirus.
• Created and distributed two videos about jumping and landing, designed for 3rd grade but applicable
to most elementary students.

Work Experiences
Peer Mentor for UNC Go On And Learn (GOAL) Program:
Greeley, CO February 2019 - December 2020
• Worked one-on-one and in small groups with college students who have intellectual disabilities.
• Duties included offering academic support, running a weekly sports program, helping with
applications for and transportation to job opportunities, and participating in ways of including
students with intellectual disabilities in higher education and life, like social nights and events.
Referee with Rocky Mountain Rugby Referees:
Various Cities, CO and Wyoming March 2018 - Present
• Assistant Referee for the HSBC International Women’s 7s series, Rugbytown 7s, the DII Men’s and
DI Women’s College 15s playoffs, and various other club, collegiate, and high school games.
• Center Referee for the championship game of high school girls state 7s finals, a Women’s DI college
playoffs game, high school boys 7s, Denver 7s, and DII college games.
• Currently a Level 6 professional referee by USA Rugby standards.

Volunteer Experiences
Internship as a Volunteer Assistant Coach with Northern Colorado Rush Soccer Club
Greeley, CO August 2020 - Present
• Designed and ran entire practices and specific activities and skills for soccer practice for two teams.
Lead the activities, giving feedback and further instruction as needed. The two teams were
comprised of 8-9 year old girls and 13-14 year old girls, respectively.
Assistant Coach and Co-Head Coach for Pulpit Rock Church Sports Camp
Colorado Springs, CO July 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
• Taught K-5 soccer skills during a week-long summer sports camp. As an assistant coach, helped plan
and run soccer activities for the K-2nd graders. In 2019 as head coach, planned and implemented a
soccer curriculum for the 3rd-5th graders.

UNC Women’s Rugby President:
Greeley, CO August 2019 - Present
• Collaborated with other schools to create the schedule for the season, helped design and run
practices, and assisted the Vice President in shared duties including organizing logistics, athlete
paperwork, budget, practice times, and recruiting.
• Vice President for the 2018-2019 school year; assisted President in above duties.
Vice President of UNC Physical Education Club:
Greeley, CO August 2018 - Present
• Researched and distributed information for events, created and posted flyers, supported other club
officers with conducting meetings and making decisions, and helped create the PE Club website.
