1. There are principles in choosing and determining strategies models methods in learning
English such as students characteristic, materials, media and time Use specific reasons

2. As the internet becomes increasingly more important in daily life, writing skills become
more important to teach in schools. Thus, how to use internet in increasing writing
English? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer

4. When assessing students in learning English, it is important to remember that assessment


should be measure of what students are able to do and what they know, rather than
measures of what they are not able to do and do not know. Do you agree or disagree with
the following statement? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Answer :

1. The strategy model used in learning English must be well structured, well realized, then
also easily accepted by students and it is hoped that the strategy model we create will
develop in the learning process. It sure isn't easy. For example, when learning takes place,
we are faced with various characteristics of students who are different in one class, some
are diligent, active, indifferent, difficult to manage, pay less attention to learning and so
on, so that learning is not conducive. As teachers, we should have prepared several
methods for dealing with these problems as follows :

a. Insert Digital Media-Based Learning


The need to insert digital-based learning in children. Because this is something
new to them. It can be proven from the conditions I have observed, they are so
interested in everything that is presented with digital media such as laptops and
cellphones. According to them, learning was not monotonous, boring and after I
observed it, previously learning was not conducive running conducive because their
enthusiasm was very high. One more thing that I can observe they like the way of
presenting learning that is more colorful, lively, and interesting, different from books.
however, it is just as lacking, despite the many advantages that digital learning has. I
think learning will be realized if digital learning with traditional learning can be
balanced.

b. More Intesns in Interacting with Students.

Getting the opportunity to get closer to students is also the right method in dealing
with various characteristics of students. Especially when they claim we are good
friends. When we become good friends, we are not only more intense in recognizing
their characteristics, but they will definitely be enthusiastic about everything we do,
plus we often insert a puzzle in every story we tell them, of course it will take a lot of
their attention. Through this learning can be presented through stories.

c. Relive the Monotony of Past Learning.

Some schools still apply past learning methods that do not get a good response
from students. This does not mean that this learning will be eliminated, but must be
refreshed by considering various characteristics of children so that they are interested
in learning. such as when learning games are inserted, telling stories while carrying
the media, inserting small movements to encourage students to return and much more.

2. How to use the internet to improve English writing skills that can be accessed through
videos such as Youtube. On this YouTube social media account, there are usually
interesting learning presentation videos and videos that feature English subtitles. Why did
I choose YouTube as one of the right media in developing English because a child
currently really likes YouTube. Through YouTube we can provide a short film which has
English subtitles. There we watch the video also play word puzzles and guess the word
writing in the Vidio. Through the media, youtube not only trains to write but also how to
speak English.

3. Agree. If the use of cartoon videos is presented in the lesson. But provided that the video
is shown only 2 greetings a week, then choose a video that is suitable for the age of the
students, choose a video that has English subtitles to strengthen their grammer skills, try
to present the video there is a light quiz to guess the word and write it, and train the
ability to speak English, after the video is shown students are expected to be able to tell
what they got from watching the video.

4. Disagree. Because the assessment is based on the assessment of what is known that we
can not see the extent to which their abilities have developed. Measurements must also be
measured against what they do not know. From here later as teachers we are responsible
and convey what deficiencies students must change for the next learning so that the next
stage student's grades have progress.

Examples of students who excel in the aspects presented but are lacking in the aspect of
speaking about us judging from the ability that is done without considering the speaking
aspect of the child, the speaking ability will continue to decrease. The point is we pay
attention to the deficiencies that exist in students as a reminder to improve what abilities
are lacking and must stop.
