Requirement:
1. Present the Data (Frequency table and some graphs)
2. Apply the measures of central tendency and dispersion to the appropriate variables.
3. Apply Correlation and regression

# Present the data (Frequency table and some graphs)

Here no. of data n= 49
Lowest data value =30
We can consider lower class limit of 1st value is 30
No. of classes ݊ൌ ξ 49 = 7 so, we can consider class interval around 7
Class interval = rangeൊ ݊‫݈ܽܿ ݋݂ ݋‬

Median:
Median = [L + {(N/2)-fc} x C] / fm

Where, N/2 = 49/2 = 24.5

Cumulative frequency more than 24.5 is 33

So, class interval 55-80 will be median level

L= Lower limit of median class = 55

fm= Frequency of median class = 15

fc = Cumulative frequency of pre median class= 18

C= Class interval = 55-30 = 25

So, Median = 55 +{(24.5 – 18)/15} x 25 = 65.83 = 66

EMBA-502 REPORT 5
Mode:

Where 30.55 is modal class, because 18 is highest frequency

So, L = Lower limit of modal class = 30
= Frequency difference between modal class and pre modal class = 18

= Frequency difference between modal class and post modal class = 3

C = Class interval = 2.5
Mode = 30 + {18/ (18+3)} x 2.5 =51.43 = 51

Mean > Median > Mode

There exists strong negetive correlation

Coffi cient of detemination = r² =0.96

So we can say, salary 96% depend on Grade

Associate regrassion cofficient

We know standard regression model Y= a+bX

where a = ȳ-bx̄ =107.5-118(2.5)= -187.5
