INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY:

ECO-BRICKS

I have noticed in my area the presence of plastics everywhere, especially junk food
wrappers that can not be thrown in the right container because there’s a lot of
children here in our barangay who loves to eat junkfoods and does not have enough
knowledge about the environment. I remember our project at school, all the junk
food wrappers were cut into pieces and put in a plastic bottle until it was full. This is
a good project in our barangay because the scattered wrappers will be solved and
people will be trained not to meet anywhere, but they will take it home and cut it.
Because I experienced it, instead of throwing it away, I recycle it. This project is
called Eco-Bricks. Bottles that can be collected by cut-out wrappers can be recycled
in such a way that they can be incorporated into mud and can be made into chairs
and so on.

It helps a lot, first of all because mother earth can be taken care of. Second, blocking
canals can prevent flooding and children will be disciplined because it will be
required in every home. Children or adults will learn that instead of throwing away
the wrapper or throwing it in the trash, they will cut it out and put it in the bottle.
The third bottle will be used, because we know plastic will take a long time to melt,
so instead throw it away and recycle it into something better. Eco bricks are
equivalent to the hardness of cement when they are incorporated into mud, so they
can be used as walls in buildings or any establishments.

STUDENT’S JOURNAL:

Law in democratic society

Law is very important in a democratic society. First of all when we say democratic
society it is government in which power and civic responsibility are exercised by all
adult citizens, directly, or through their freely elected representatives. Without laws
and rules we will not maintain the justice and equality of every human being.
Everyone will have freedom of choice but not all have good intentions and we
cannot avoid that. Let's say for example if you have no money and you have thought
of something you want to do to solve your problem but it is very bad and can be
affected by what you do badly. But without laws, you will not have consequences for
what you do which is not right because there is a saying that there are consequences
in every bad action that you make. And there really needs to be. When there are no
laws, people will not be limited in what they do, they will have their own views and
beliefs. Because of having different beliefs it will result in confusion. Because of the
different beliefs of the people because no law is followed there will be war. A nation
will not be united and it will not prosper because there is no understanding. Law is
very important in a country, because without it many people are suffering and there
is no justice available.

One of the laws I do not want to break is in the Bible. Law commanded by the Lord in
order for us to achieve eternal life. Just like the law in this world that if we do not
obey there will be penalties and when we talk about the commandments of the
Lord, we will not be able to be with him in paradise, the penalty is to go to hell and
suffer. The law is for us and it will be for our good. Because without it there will be
chaos, and we will not get along with each other here in the country. I believe the
purpose of the laws is for the good of our country so we must follow it.
