Group Case Study

Requirements:
1. Develop a layout of facilities.

2. Draw a precedence diagram.

Every group has been assigned with a product. For that product manufacturing business, you are
asked to develop a “layout of facilities” and draw a “precedence diagram”.
While you develop a layout of facilities, research and identify all facilities that you decide to
keep in your layout. The better you can do it, the better performance you will have.
While you draw precedence diagram, research and explore all tasks (operations) that are required
to produce that product. You also need to learn the sequence of those tasks (operations) and their
time requirement.
For research, you can use your course book, Google, and YouTube. If you want to use any other
source for research, take approval from your course instructor. Remember to save and mention
all the sources of your research.
In all works, your answers must be neat and clean, accurately done, logical, and easy to
understand.
