Gurtam, the Belarusian group of companies, is known around the world for fleet management, GPS
tracking and IoT platform, Wialon (https://gurtam.com/), which currently has 2.4 mln. devices
connected across the globe. We have a team of 220+ people who work in multiple locations – Dubai,
Boston, Buenos Aires, Kaunas, Moscow, and our headquarters, in Minsk.

We have been in telematics field for 17 years and have strong positions in MENA, Europe, Africa,
Latin America, and Asia Pacific while being #1 platform for fleet management in ex-USSR countries
including Russia where we have 36% of the tracking market i.e. every 2nd car in Russia is currently on
Wialon. Each year we exhibit at GITEX (https://youtu.be/1uTNM6VxkOU ) and other related expos
while also hosting a grand partner conference in Minsk (https://youtu.be/0aDEBGKKwVs ).

Currently our team based in Dubai is aiming towards new heights, and now we are looking to recruit
a Business Development Manager for our office in Dubai.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Business development (sales) to new Gurtam partners in the MENA region: negotiations with
potential customers, their needs identification, presentation of company products with a further
conversion into existing partners;
• potentially ability to work with existing partners (accounting) after probation period:
negotiations via phone, e-mail and on in-person meetings;
• constant maintenance and expansion of clients' database by using our CRM;
• participation in expos with/ without the company booth (incl. GITEX) in the MENA region;
business trips;
• successful collaboration and coordination of your own work with the team in Dubai, and with
the teams located in our headquarters, in Minsk, and other offices;
• regular reports to the Team Lead;
• assistance to senior colleagues upon the request.

Qualifications and Skills

• business development/ sales experience of at least 2 years in IT/ tech products/ services;
• at least 1-year experience of working with existing customers in IT/ tech products/ services
(accounting/ key accounting);
• excellent business correspondence skills;
• supreme skills in tough negotiations and experience in face-to-face negotiations in general;
• multitasking skills – ability to switch focus easily within a high number of incoming tasks;
• high productivity level and high speed in general – it is important for us how many unique
letters you can write per day and how many phone calls/ meetings you can handle at no quality
loss;
• outstanding supreme time management skills – ability to set priorities, plan your day based on
incoming requests, possible force majeure, tasks from the Team Lead, and your personal work
goals;
• fast learner – we provide you with an extensive training program during your probation period,
and with a plethora of training opportunities after that;
• team player – because no great achievement is possible without team support;
• English level: Proficiency.

Preferential experience / Nice-to-haves:

• experience in any telematics/ security-related sphere would be a plus;


• 2nd foreign language would be appreciated – we give preference to Arabic and French
speakers (Russian is a plus yet only for internal communication);
• previous experience of presenting former company products/ services on an expo is a plus;
• skills of making presentations on stage would give you an advantage;
• readiness for business trips – we are an international company and a significant part of your
colleagues is based outside of the UAE.
