In this activity, my students are going to use Canva to create a poster detailing proper
dental hygiene.

Activity For this lesson, students will first learn about what
dental hygiene is and why it’s important for us to
maintain. They will take the knowledge and
information given to them to design their own
“Dental Importance” posters. The students have
complete creative control and are allowed to make
their poster look however they’d like as long as it
details the major aspects of dental hygiene, which
are:

1. Brushing your teeth twice a day

a. Poster must include tools to do such (ex.
Toothbrush, toothpaste, etc)
2. Visiting your dentist regularly
3. Why it’s important to take care of your teeth
