The article reviews that focus on classroom management is twofold. The review article

states that classroom management is just as much about managing learning processes when an

activity is taking place as it is about creating peace and quiet so pupils can get down to work.

The main goal of classroom management is to reduce misbehavior in the classroom. Effective

classroom management gives students little time to misbehave. Because the expectations are

clearly explained, the students know what they need to do. Where discipline describes the

consequences you give students for not following the rules classroom management describes a

more general set of procedures, most of which are aimed at avoiding problems rather than

responding to them. The classroom setup is an example of classroom management that is not

discipline. The structuring of learning environment is essential for teachers and students. In fact,

studies show that the physical arrangement of the classroom can affect both students and teacher

behavior , and that a well-structured classroom management plan of design can improve learning

and behavior. Some classroom strategies are universal classroom management

• Model ideal behavior

• Let students help establish guidelines

• Document rules

• Avoid punishing the class

• Encourage initiative

• Offer praise

• Use non-verbal commutation

• Hold parties

Good classroom management reduces poor behavior and distractions, so students are all focused

on learning. Facilitates social and emotional development. Promotes positive interactions

between peers and decreases bullying. Allows for more time to be focused on teaching and

learning and benefits. Some benefits of having effective classroom management include:

• Safety. If a teacher has control of her classroom, it is less likely that a fight will break out

or violence will occur.

• Positive Class Environment Building

• More Teaching Time

• Relationship Building

• Preparation for Workforce

Recommendations on Classroom Management

• Have very clear expectations

• Create Simple to follow rules

• Make all procedures clear

• Keeps lessons short and sweet

• Deal with discipline immediately

• Make Transitions smooth and easy

• Be confident
