1. Name of the Project : INTEGRATED MULTI CROP FARM

2. Approximately estimated Project Cost : 800,000 Rs.

3. Area required for the proposed project: 3 acres.

1. Introduction

There are no humans without trees. We depend on the tree not only for breathing but also for
various needs. With the increase in population, the demand for trees has increased and the
destruction of trees has also increased. We are currently in the process of restoring the trees
we donated ourselves. In this context, I assure you that I will use the opportunity to promote
tree cultivation in the right way and protect the resources of the country.

 Long-term cultivation for future benefits:

Coconut, Red pomegranate
 Black gram, green gram, corn and sesame
for producing branded nutritional cereal flour mix
 Short-term cultivation for maintaining the current expenses:
Banana, Aloe-vera, Tapioca, vegetables, greens and Palmyra yam

It is one of the major plantations in our country and get 5 th place in the world in terms of
coconut cultivation. It is a staple of the diet of Sri Lankans. All parts of the coconut have many
uses.

Red pomegranates are less imported and more expensive. Also red pomegranates are
considered as medicinal crops. Due to import restrictions, red pomegranate can be grown at
temperatures above 18 ° C and yellow and red pomegranate are more expensive to cultivate in
our country.

Black gram, green gram, corn sesame and Palmyra yam are rich in protein and medicinal value.
They can be used to produce a mix of nutrition flour which can cater the health issues of all
types of age groups instead of eating toxic junk wheat products.

Types of Banana especially Red Banana is very expensive and highly demanded for medicinal
purposes. Due to its short supply and high price, it is not affordable by most of the people. And
also there is no need of replanting cost. As well as Tapioca cultivation and supply can support
the producer to manage the current expenses.

It is a medicinal plant throughout the world when it comes to Aloe Vera. It is harvested for
various purposes. It can grow in any type of land. Not only this, it helps the coconut trees to
protect them and fertilize them.

Organic vegetables are highly demanded by most of the people those who avoid chemically
fertilized vegetables.

2. Action Plan Description (Details)

Since coconut is a long-term crop, cultivating it along with coconut is a medicinal plant that can
be beneficial in the short run and is beneficial to our physical health and beauty. Intercropping
Aloe vera is drought tolerant. Aloe vera has a tendency to grow in hot places and on any kind of
ground.
So planting one Aloe vera for each coconut tree. Aloe vera provides water to the coconut
during the summer and can be used as coconut gum. This will increase the yield of coconut
while keeping the coconut from rotting during summers. It also controls beetle attacks on the
coconut tree. This will also provide protection to the coconut. Cultivation of red pomegranate
and turmeric and ginger which can be done along with coconut cultivation. The reason for this
is that ginger and turmeric belong to the tuber type so coconut fiber should be added. Then
these will be easier to grow.

3. Problems
Today there is a shortage of coconuts in the country and for the first time in the history of Sri
Lanka the price of a coconut has gone up to 100 rupees and our country produces over 2.8
billion coconuts annually for the consumption of the people of Sri Lanka. However, there is
currently a shortage of 700 million coconuts in the industry. Coconut shortage has increased.
As far as Aloe vera cultivation is concerned, the number of practitioners is low due to the lack of
knowledge about the benefits of Aloe vera.
4. Objective of my project:

 Creating successful commercialized model integrated multi-crop farm along with poultry
farm.
 Producing branded nutritional cereal flour mix (Saththu maa kalavai)
Using self-produced cereals and grains.
 Increasing the productivity of the land
 Promoting indigenious organic and healthy product
 Establishing commercialized social, ecological and environment sustainable model farm
 Supplying adequate amount of fresh vegetables, greens, fruits, coconuts, country eggs
and chicken within Trincomalee territory.
 Promoting organic compost making and poultry feed using byproducts.
 Creating job opportunity for locals and rural farmers
 Maximum utilization of land by multi and inter cropping
 Using Gliricidia as natural fencing and promoting it as a bio fuel crop

 Improving coconut cultivation and increasing the local production of the country.
 Bringing foreign currency into the country.
 Encouraging manufacturers of handicrafts made from parts of coconut.
 Providing Aloe vera for health and beauty product production.
 Replenishing and developing the economy of family and socio-economy of the country.

5. Proposed Activities:
Land clearing and fencing. Soil testing for the possibility of growth of the proposed intercrops.
Then divide the land into 2/3 parts and take 2 part of it and cultivate the main crop coconut.
For example, if it is 3 acre, take 2 acre for coconut cultivation. Planting 140 coconut saplings in 2
acre at about "20-20" (20 feet spacing) You can grow Aloe-vera with it. The rest 1 acre can be
cultivated with red pomegranate, Black gram, Green gram, corn, vegetables and green.
For the 1st year 30 country layers can be added with movable cage of which capacity for 30
chickens.

Banana tree fiber, Banana stalk fiber, Banana ethnic stalk fiber, Banana fiber waste etc.
From the fourth year onwards, the mangroves, cassava and intercrops will be protected by fire,
and the fireflies will continue to conserve the fertile soil and the evergreen soil will benefit from
it.

2. Cassava/Tapioca

Cassava is a crop that can be grown organically by vivo in the application of fertilizer and
pesticides.
With good care of cassava, manure can be harvested at a rate of 3,0000 kg per hectare (2.47
acres 35-50 tons).
Rs.900,000 will be charged at Rs.
Plowing, Fodder, Planting, Coal Mulching, Spraying, Maintenance Cost 2 lbs.

In Sri Lanka, the export of cassava-based cassava products has created huge opportunities for
the export industry.

2. Coconut
Coconut Planting Rubbish is harvested six years after the onset of grafting.
Fresh king coconut water 70.00 rupees - 50.00 rupees

Growing seedlings for sale and selling manure seedling will fetch 200.00 rupees. It will be more
profitable to sell 30,000 rupees worth of coconuts and sell more nurseries.

Fresh coconut seedlings will grow back from the seedlings. The rest can be sold for Rs.

Coconut produces good fertilizer maintenance, disease control, water production continuously
and yields and profits annually for thirty to ninety years. Permanent or higher income can be
obtain.

(Banana and Tapioca with Coconut) All crop planting practices are clearly understood as a
project precaution. It is well known that this is an attempt to protect the Sri Lankan people in
the food crisis that the world is facing after the government crisis.

To get rid of the country's real financial problems, the Government is committed to creating
world-class export opportunities through the use of the country's resources and the production
of natural aerospace products.

External Development Exercises. They have announced new business plans and created a
platform for us. Institutions have launched a new Anatomy Industrial Estate and pioneered the
Banana fiber manufacturing project.
The project is expected to generate an estimated $ 25 million a year in revenue from the
Banana Fiber Project. Use of this opportunity provided by the Government of India to learn
training programs on composting and marketing of aerial fiber and aerial wastes.
In the corresponding post. We can also contribute as much as we can to the country's
development and security plans.
After many long years as citizens of Sri Lanka, I sincerely hope that we too will continue to
move forward using the country's development agenda.

Divisional Secretariat,
Town and Gravets, Trincomalee.

Request for land under the scheme of young entrepreneur development program.

I, Pushpanathan Wijendra, holding NIC number 782871811V, residing at the above mentioned
address, would like to inform you that now I am 42, having no any permanent job to take care
of my family and striving to uplift and develop the financial and economic situation of the
family.
Due to ethnic clash and civil war occurred in 1990, we had to displace from our native place
(Jaffna) to India as refugees. We repatriated in 1995 and settled in Trincomalee district.

Even though I was the best student who was the school topper in O/level exam in 1996 with 4
distinction including mathematics, I had to discontinue my A/level studies (Maths), and go to a
Middle Eastern country for employment purpose due to the financial crisis of our family in
1999. I worked in Saudi Arabia since 1999 to 2012. I got married in 2008 and residing with my
father at the above mentioned address. I never get any rehabilitation or any support such as
housing scheme or Samurdhi benefits. Also I don’t possess or own any piece of land in my name
in any part of the country. Still I am following my BA degree program through Open University
in order to get a permanent job, if it is possible.

Now I have come to know that the government has implemented a scheme to grant bare land
through divisional secretariat for enthusiastic young entrepreneurs to develop their future
economically. I hope that this would be a great opportunity for me to submit my project
proposal and make my kind request for 3 acres of land which will be very helpful to develop my
future and to overcome from the current economic situation.

Therefore I hereby kindly request you, please consider my situation and the enclosed project
proposal and do the needful.
Your kind and timely support in this regard is highly appreciated.

Thank you
P.Wijendra
