Professional Accomplishments:

- I participated in creating lessons for the model thematic unit for Qatar Foundation International
curriculum grant.
- I was videotaped in classroom while teaching the created lesson as part of STARTALK infrastructure
project. The lesson became part of STARTALK and OCWLP resources for showing standards-based

- I developed materials at Minaret Academy for KG, first, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade.
Idesigned thematic units based on world readiness standards and california standards, including
summative assessment, formative assessment, and Integrated Performance Task.

- Attended Methods for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, Minnesota August, 2017

- Attend Star Talk professional development program 50 hours for four years (Putting the Arabic
language standards front and center leadership in the Arabic language teaching community) on 2014,
to 2017 in Orange county California.
- Attended the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh Annual West Cost Education Forum
ISNA on, 2013, to 2018, in Orange county California.
- Attended and participated with my students at second, third, fourth and fifth Annual culture day,
designed by Southren California Arabic Language Teacher’s Council FROM 2014 TO 2017
- Attended the First, second, third, fourth, and fifth Annual SCALTC state wide conference, from 2014
to 2018.
