PART 2. Describe a meeting you remember going to at work, college or
school.

Last summer, I had a chance to meet my friend from Japan. She is Ai

Imamura and she is younger than me. We being friends when we joined in a
student exchange programme between Vietnam and Japan. Despite the far
distance, we are still keeping contact and we met again last summer when
she visited Vietnam on summer vacation. At first, before flied to Vietnam,
she had messaged me that they were going to spend her holiday in Vietnam.
I was so surprised and feel excited when received the information. I arranged
an appointment to meet as soon as they coming. After a week, she arrived to
Noi Bai International Airport. I came to pick her up to their hotel and told
her to take a rest after a long flight. It was in the early afternoon, I took Ai to
the restaurants to have a late lunch. She told that she love Vietnamese
cuisines a lot, especially bun cha and spring roll. She said she tried to make
them at home but the taste did not like when she had eaten in Vietnam
because of the lack of spices and different sauces. Then we went shopping.
Because the hotel she had booked was near the centre of the city, so that we
just walked to the shops. She bought a lot of clothes and souvenirs because
of their cheap prices and good quality. Next, after had gone shopping, we
went to a coffee shop. It was a vintage one with a band played music for
people who came to enjoy. We felt cozy and relax when stayed there. We
talked about our studying at home, about our families and our feelings after
that programme. I told them that I missed them so much. I missed the food
their mom cooked for me, especially tokoyaki, a type of cake of Japan made
from flour with octopus and vegetables baked in an unique baker. We also
talked about our future plans. Ai told me she would go to a law university in
Japan because she wants to be a lawer and the salary of Japanese lawer is
high. I said that she could do it due to her intelligence. We were chatting
together while enjoying the coffee. In the evening, we had beef steak in a
family restaurant. We took her to the hotel by my motorbike and did not
forget to say goodbye to her and showed my happiness because of her
present.

to make new friends, expand their relationships. But a few others
don’t like joining meetings as their internal personality or they feel
shy to go to these meetings.
