Ans: Assam receives heavy rainfall. Houses are built 10-12 feet above the ground, to stop the rainwater
from entering inside.
2. Why are houses in Rajasthan made of thorny bushes and mud?

Key points- Rajasthan receives very little rainfall and is very hot- inorder to prevent from
the heat - houses are built with thorny bushes and mud.
