1. Why was Amit afraid of the dark?

Ans. Amit was afraid of the dark because to him, the inky blackness of the night was
filled with frightening noises and mysterious shadowy shapes.

2. Where did they go for a camping trip? Where and with whom did Amit stay?
Ans. They went to a beautiful green valley covered with tents. Amit stayed in a tent
with Vijay Singh, the toughest boy in the class.

3. What happened in the tent at night?

Ans. Amit and Vijay heard scary noises everywhere outside the tent and both of them
got scared.

4. How did Amit overcome his fear?

Ans. Amit overcame his fear by finding the cause of the scary noise to comfort Vijay
and he realised that he himself was brave.

5. What are you scared of? How did/can you overcome your fear?
