Equipments used :

1 Zinc Chloride Solution and Range of solution .

2 Surgical hand gloves

Sample Preparation :

1 Cut sample into pices and press them to remove the air.

Procedure :

1 Place the sample into the known specific gravity solution .

2 If sample floats then place into the privious range of solution .

3 If the subjected sample gets sinked , calculate the average value of the both ranges of solutions.

4 The Average value calculated , is the desired Specific-gravity of the sample under Test .

Precaution :-

1 Stir the Solutions prior to start the execution of the Test .
