Effects of being quarantined for several months

Quarantine is basically restriction on movement of people which is intended to stop the spread
of any contagious or communicable disease. Due to the new deadly virus named covid-19 which
has now became a global issue, people have been strictly told to be in quarantine to stop the
spread of this virus. Being quarantined for several months can led us in huge difficulties and
crisis. The effects of being quarantined can be seen in economic condition, mental health of
people and maybe in ensuing food crisis.

Quarantine has brought a huge effect in our economic condition. Because of this the daily
waged earners like rickshaw puller are being mostly affected. As they earn their livelihood day
to day it has became nearly impossible for them to lead a proper life. Moreover many
employees have lost their job because of this. The overall economic condition of the country is
going down. It has became hard for most of the people to afford necessary commodities.
Businesses will rapidly go down because of huge loss.

Our mental health can be affected by being in quarantine for several months. Because of being
quarantined we are being isolated from our social life. Isolation can be horrid as we experience
stigma, fear and frustration. It can cause boredom and loneliness which can lead us to panic
which eventually result in bad.

Quarantine for several months can lead in ensuing food crisis. As daily labourer lost their daily
income source it will become nearly impossible for them to afford basic food items. If this
quarantine continues for several month it can lead in ensuing food shortage in market.
Moreover as many people are losing their job it’ll also be difficult for them to buy food for
themselves and their family.

In conclusion it can be said that quarantine for several months can result in huge crisis. It’ll lead
us in many more difficulties afterward. It has became a global issue, it will affect the whole
world badly. So it can be said it’ll be better if the quarantine period ends soon.
