1.0 OVERVIEW

Mainstream Renewable Power (Mainstream) a pure-play renewable energy


company specializing in the development of onshore and offshore wind and solar
projects will be conducting thru contract a preliminary ground investigation
(geophysical and geotechnical) for a proposed wind farm at Libmanan,
Camarines Sur which was identified as a development opportunity with

Mainstream requires an Employers Representative to supervise the activities of the


contractor to conduct the said preliminary ground investigation. Mainstream
through CEDI will act as the client for this work, the employer’s representative will
act on behalf of the client and the contractor shall be a geotechnical specialist
selected by Mainstream.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK


The Employers Representative will be responsible to ensure the safe and effective
delivery, by an assigned contractor, the works scope specified above and in detail
in the attached ‘PH02-0804-TEN-0234-Camarines Sur Ground Condition
Investigations Scope of Works’.

2.1 Pre-Site Works

- Review the Technical Content from a Design, H&S and Feasibility


standing of all Documents and confirm that they are in line with Best
Practices.
- Review available geological information.
- Attend teleconference with Contractor before site works
commence to plan works.

2.2 Site Works

- Site visit with Contractor


- Site Safety and Quality Monitoring
- Planning and review of test programme
- Supervision of investigations
- Monitoring of site activities
- Daily site report to Mainstream including progress photographs
- Review of results
- Review of contractor’s final report on completion

2.3 SHEQ

- Employer’s Representative will adhere to all SHEQ requirements as


listed in Appendix B and anything that may be reasonably required
for the engagement.
- Employer’s Representative will ensure works are carried out to
BS5930:2015 or equivalent standard.

Note:

- The quotation cost was estimated throughout the duration of the


work (14 weeks) based on the RfP for Employers Represented, not by
daily rate.
- Operating expenses was assumed estimate, and subject for
liquidation based on what will be the expenses during the work,
hence for the Cross Axis Technical Staff is fixed rate for the whole 14
weeks.

4.0 TERMS OF PAYMENT

4.1 Employers Representative

a. 30% down payment upon signing of the project contract and or 15 days
before the commencement of the work;
b. 20% on the 7th week of the work schedule
c. 20% on the 10th week of the work schedule
d. 20% on the 13th week of the work schedule
e. 10% on the 14th week of the work schedule
