Explanation: The cream of the crop. These are the additional gear skills players are
chasing for as they either have extremely broad use or are considered best in slot (BIS) for
certain content or heroes.
Increases DMG dealt to enemies by 25% when HP is above 95%
● All PvE DPS
● If you obtain multiple of these gear skills on one set, Book of Mad, Blessing of Earth,
Fantastic Hybrid Animals, and/or Nail Ornament of the Deep is optimal over
Otherworldly Sword for short duration content
Increases DMG dealt to enemies by 3% every 15 sec. This effect can be stacked up to max 12
times.
● All PvE DPS, but preferably longer battles such as GC3 and Eclipse.
● Extremely powerful with Otherworldly Sword for WB1, WB2, and GC3.
At the beginning of every battle, increases DMG of the ally with the highest ATK by 2.5% for
200 sec.
● For general PvE support use, but for short duration content
○ Farming 9-23 or 10-29
○ WB3
○ Devourer and Otherworldly Shakmeh
Increases Dodge Chance by 200. Upon dodging an enemy attack, recovers HP equal to 3% of
Max HP. This effect activates only once every 3 sec.
● Extremely strong for PvP, providing over 3 lines of stats and Inner Peace (effectively 1%
Max HP per second). Note, the dodge portion stacks, but the healing portion has an
internal cooldown so only one or two lines are recommended.
● Notable for Assassin and Warrior Class.
Upon every Skill use, increases ATK by 2%. This effect can be stacked up to max 20 times.
● General PvE usage on DPS for longer battles.
● Notable users include Xerah, Erze, Zafir, etc.
Upon every Skill use, takes 3% reduced DMG. This effect can be stacked up to max 8 times.
● Eclipse main tank
● Shakmeh main tank
● Good on specific heroes in PvP such as Ophelia, Viska, Baudouin, etc.
P. DMG taken is reduced by 20%. This effect can increase up to 30% over 10 sec
● Siegfried Raid main tank and supports
● Ascalon Raid main tank and supports
● Devourer and Otherworldly Shakmeh main tank
● Sky Trial main tank
● PvP priests for Bruiser decks
M. DMG taken is reduced by 20%. This effect can increase up to 30% over 10 sec.
● Galgoria Raid main tank
● Flow Trial main tank
Upon block an enemy attack, recovers Mana by 200. This effect activates only once every 1 sec.
● PvP main tank but requires multiple lines and 500+ Block to be worth
● Allows you to effectively drop all Attack Speed and MP Recovery/Attack and still cast
skills in a timely manner in PVP if stacked
● Notable users include Demia, Dosarta, and Loman
Overall usability rating: C tier
Explanation: These are additional gear skills that are strong, but even more specific in
usage among general content and the available hero pool.
When there is 1 enemy, ATK is boosted by 35%
● World Boss 1
● World Boss 2
● Earth trial DPS
● Flow trial DPS
● Otherworldly Shakmeh
Upon killing an enemy, increases ATK by 2%. This effect can be stacked up to 25 times
● For PvE use for AoE heroes when there are multiple mobs
● Ascalon Raid
● Devourer Shakmeh
● GC3
● Notable users include Erze, Zafir, Artemia, etc.
Increases ATK by 50% for 10 sec when HP is below 30%, this effect only activates only once
every 10 second
● Mediana-Lavril strategy in ToC or Eclipse
Upon Skill use, increases Heal Rate by 25% for 5 sec. This effect activates only once every 10
sec.
● Stat inefficient compared to 18-28% Recovery line on 0-5* UT and is not even 100%
uptime
Increases ALL Block by 150. At the beginning of each battle, additionally increases All Block
by 200 for 10 sec.
● Eclipse, but outclassed by the other defensive options
After further testing and discussion: I have shifted the positions of certain gear skills in
the tier list (dated 9/2/20).
I have shifted the positions and changed the description of certain gear skills because of
new results shown by high ranking World Boss, Guild Conquest, and League of Honor players
(dated 10/1/20).
Fixed some errors in values, shifted the positions of the tier list, and improved clarity on
descriptions (dated 11/2/20).
Happy New Years folks, after further discussion, much of the tier list has shifted due to
discoveries in new playstyles and PvP mechanics, most notably damage reduction in the League
of Honor being separate from the Tough stat (dated 1/23/20).
