Instruction: On the space provided below, present any photograph that depicts a Science and
Technology issue or problem. It would be better if you will read about current events to widen
your understanding about the chosen issue or problem. Then, answer the guide questions
below.

Guide Questions:
1. What is the issue or problem depicted in the photograph?
This is about the Human-centered AI. Because we all know the innovations today are so
rapid and advanced and someday in the future maybe there is no existence of human life
but an existence of robots. AI that acts a human or more advanced than humans.

2. How does the issue or problem depicted in the photograph impact the well-being of
humans today?
For me first it affects the human life, imagine that there are robots that you look alike and
acts as you then you will lose your job because AI are now capable of doing your jobs.
And in the future many jobs will be vanished because of AI. Then the production of these
robots are expensive it may affect also the environment. It really affects the humanity that
we have today in the future the world are filled by robots and a little population of human.

3. Why is it important for people to study and learn about STS as an academic field,
especially in addressing the issue or problem depicted in the photograph?
For me it is important to study STS because we need to know the proper way of balancing
the growth of technologies and the growth of the society. Because if one of these are more
it can be a problem. And we need to value the existence of humans, even though we are
also giving our society a problem we need to have a solution for that. And don’t let
technologies ruined our society especially our world.
