The World is a smaller place these days

It is said that the 21st century is the era of technology. This century has the most developed and
advanced computer and other electronics. Electrical devices and the internet have more available than
ever. Website and web-pages are so nice and user-friendly. Now almost everyone has his/her mobile
phone in the family, even their family income is very low. The situation was not like this 20 years ago.
Even the internet and technology were not that improved or developed 50 years ago. The improvement
of technology makes our world smaller. Now communication has become so easy and cheap that
anyone can effort it from anywhere.

Back in the last centuries, when communication was only dependent on letters; then came telegram;
then telephone came in the nineteenth century which was so costly and long-distance call quality was
very poor. And telephones were not available at every home like the mobile phones are available at
today’s time.

Television and Radios were the two media of entertainment with 1 or 2 channels at that time when
television and radios were invented. Now there are lots of different channels in a single country with the
addition of many foreign channels in both television and radios. There are many internet-based websites
like Netflix, bongo-tv, YouTube, and many more to entertain people and helps to get the news across
the globe.  

In the previous centuries, it was very hard to get information/news or get any kind of acknowledgment.
They were only depending on newspapers which could not tell the current news at that certain time and
the news broadcast of television was not able to tell it either.

Sometimes the information or news could be slightly wrong due to the convinces communication and no
other ways to verify those. Now there are many online newspaper and news portals those can tell the
news of any parts of the world and different types of news as per as it’s viewers desires. It was so
difficult for anyone to get in contact with their relatives and others who lived in other or different parts
of the country. They could contact them in many days’ duration.

Now there are many social media like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Viber, Imo, and many others
which are connecting people all over the world. Now, one can talk and contact with their relatives and
others when they want, they can talk every day and even can see each other via a different type of video
call which impossible just in the last century. People can get in touch with anyone they want. These
technologies not just making the world smaller but also helps humans to be together with their friends
and family and give them the chance to become happy.
