SUGGESTIONS FOR THE ENGLISH PROJECT

¨GETTING TO KNOW MY TALENTS BY MYSELF¨

In this project, you will present a talent that you will learn in this pandemic time according
to your likes. It must be related to an activity that you will choose and maybe you did not
know will be able to do. You must present evidence weekly about the steps that you
followed for arriving at the objective. At the end of the project, you will have to do a formal
presentation which will show an attractive, funny, and creative video about the learned
talent.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this class project, you should be able to:

 Give a formal speech providing information about the learned talent using
appropriate language, vocabulary, and oral expression.
 Learn and take advantage of the time to do different, new, and funny activities
in your free time.
 Discover different and new abilities of yourselves.

General Instructions:

You need to do the following.

1. Select an activity or a talent that you would like to learn to do. Search for some
information and tutorials online for knowing how you could learn it.
2. Present all the required pieces of evidence of the steps you followed for learning to
do something new.
3. Exhibit and explain in a video the respective activity or talent that you learned to do.

4. As a final phase, you will upload your video to YouTube canal and will get as many
likes as possible.
5. Also, save your video in the indicated folder in the drive.

Calendar of activities

To develop the project, you must follow the steps in the next dates:

STEP DATE
Selection of a new activity or a talent. Week 9

Prepare a short exposition about your selection. Include: Thursday, April 8th

1. The name of your talent or the activity that you

will learn to do.

2. Why did you choose that?

3. Use the tool that you prefer for showing your

selected activity or talent.
Presentation of report for class. Week 10

Write a short text in what you say what did you learn in Thursday, April 15th
this week about your activity or talent.
Take some photos. Week 11

Take some photos that show your learning process. Thursday, April 22nd

Do a photo gallery and prepare the respective

presentation of it.
Make a vocabulary list (ten words) related to your new Week 12
activity or talent.
Thursday, April 29th
Expose it creatively in slides. (Write the meaning in
English and the pronunciation)
Write and send to virtual classroom all the information Week 13
that you will say in the video.

Include this information: Thursday, May 6th

✔ Introduce yourself.

✔ The name of your talent or new activity that you

learnt to do.

✔ Why did you choose that?

✔ Did you achieve your goal?

✔ The process that you followed for learning that.

✔ The steps for doing your talent or new activity.

Show your video. Week 15

Before you say the indications for your talent or new Wednesday and Thursday,
activity, you must introduce yourself and say shortly what May 19th, and 20th
did you learn in this time.

Make a creative and funny video for uploading to

YouTube Canal and will get as many likes as possible.

Also save your video in the indicated folder in drive.
