Please accept this memorandum as official notification of your appointment as Subject Area in-Charge for HUMSS
effective October 5, 2020.

Under the supervision and close monitoring of the immediate supervisor, the school-appointed SUBJECT AREA IN-
CHARGE (HUMSS) shall perform the following duties and functions:

 Work cooperatively with the school head in developing and supervising the instructional programs in the assigned
subject area.
 Obtain and use evaluative findings (including student achievement data) to examine curriculum and instruction
program effectiveness for the assigned subject area.
 Plan and provide staff development for colleagues in designated subject area.
 Demonstrate teaching strategies with students in classroom.
 Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required.
