Role Play
You will play the role of the Human Resources Manager, and you must now discuss the recruitment and
induction policies and procedures with your peers and seniors. You must obtain approval for the policies
and procedures from the Senior Manager of your company and communicate the same to your staff
members. You must clarify their doubts in order to train them for carrying out the recruitment process
as per the set policies and procedures.
Your Trainer/Assessor will take on the role of the CEO of Career Training, and two (2) of your
classmates will act as the staff members of the same RTO.
Trainer/assessor must act as CEO and understand recruitment and selection policies and procedures
from the HR Manager and suggest some improvements in the same. Two (2) other classmates acting
like staff members must ask relevant questions in order to understand the policies and procedures
related to recruitment and selection.
1. Introduce your draft policies and procedures and explain the content;
2. Clarify any questions and take notes of any comments.
You must prepare a Minutes of Meeting of the points discussed during the meeting, as per Template-1
