Lesson Plan in Mathematics 1

Content Standards:
The learner demonstrates understanding of whole numbers up to 100, ordinal numbers
up to 10th, money up to PhP100 and fractions ½ and 1/4.
Performance Standards:
The learner is able to recognize, and represent ordinal numbers up to 10th, in various
forms and contexts.
Learning Competency and Code:
The learner reads and writes ordinal numbers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd up to 10th. M1NS-Ii-17.1

Quarter: I Week: 9 Lesson: 44

I. Objectives:
At the end of 50 minutes, 100% of the learners are expected to:
1. Write ordinal numbers from 1st, 2nd, 3rd up to 10th in symbols and words;
2. Maintain order in performing an activity and
3. Write the ordinal numbers legibly

In writing ordinal numbers, we can write in symbols and words.
Look at the chart.

Notice the ordinals 4th-10th? They have the same ending letters th. Only 1st, 2nd

F. Application

Group Activity. Group the pupils into four. Provide each group with a chart.
Direction: Complete the chart by writing the ordinal numbers to the given set of
objects. The group will choose a reporter to present their output. The first group who
will complete the chart correctly wins the game. Follow the order of the group who
finished first, second and so on for reporting of output.
