This morning I just received another complaint from one of our loyal customers.
Now, I’d like tell you about the complaint I handled. The customer’s name is Joan
Tran. Do you know her? She is from Viet Nam Airlines. She works in the purchase
department of VietNam Airlines. There were a lot of problems with her last order
so she called us in order to solve the problems. Anyway, there are 2 problems with
her last order. First, five blades were missing, secondly, She received the wrong
vanes. She ordered vanes number ST28-56R but she received vanes number ST23-
56R. I explained to her that is because there were some problems with shipment
department. Therefore, I delivered the extra blades, exchanged for the correct
vanes and as a gesture of goodwill, I offered her a 10% discount off her next
purchase from our company. Fortunately, she agreed.

I’d like to refer the line graph which represents the percentage of home appliance
ownership in Viet Nam between 2006 and 2014 at 4 year intervals.

Overall, as we can see that the percentage of two consumer electronics including
air conditioner and refrigerator has an upward trend while that of ceiling fan
decreased significantly.

As you can see, the ceiling fane ownership dropped from 85 percent in 2006 to 50
percent in 2014.

Meanwhile, you can see that there was a slight increase in the number of air
conditioners, from about 5 percent in 2016 to about 8 percent in 2010 the it rose
sharply to 40 percent in 2014. At the same time, the number of refrigerators grew
steadily over the period, from 30 percent in 2006 to approximately 58 percent in
2014.

A:of course. So, to get started, what is your career objective ?

B: My career objective is becoming an electrical engineer at EVN comapany and


getting work experience in a dynamic environment of the company.
A: So, how about experience ? Do you have any work experience ?

B: Yes, I worked as an Intern at Apple Coporation. My job was created


manufacturing standards adopted throughout the production facilities.

A: Okay. So, do you have any special skills ?

B: I have a 990 scoreTOEIC and 9.0 IELTS, Auto CAD and PLC programming.
Apart from these, I have teamwork and organization skills, too.

A: What are your strengths and weaknesses ?

B: I can work very well with a team and I am a good leader, as well. In addition, I
can learn very quickly and efficiently so I can get on well with my new job easily
in a short time. About my weaknesses, I think I can't drink a lot of alcohol and I
work very hard so I often work overtime and this thing lead to a shortage of
relaxing time.

A: Okay. And the last question is, Why should we hire you?

B: I think I can use my experience and ability to contribute to the success of the
company and I really want to work in this company because it has a good
reputation in my country.

My full name is Nguyen Dinh Huy, I live in Cau Giay, Ha Noi . I graduated from
Hanoi University of Industry in 2016 with a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering
and my GPA is 3.0/4. Besides, I have a certificate in PCB designing at Hanoi
Institute of Technology in 2016. In 2015, I was a member of Student tutoring club-
Hanoi University of Industry. I provided English tutoring, managed attendance and
reported student’s progress to supervisor. During my internship in Samsung
company in 2016, I created manufacturing standards adopted throughout the
production facilities, aided in facility analysis, designed new model of multi-
metres and teamed with engineering department to test new design. I had many
skills such as: English, MS office, time management skills and organization skills.
I like joining the volunteer clubs and playing football. My objective is to obtain an
entry-level position as an Technical Sales Engineer, allowing to me to use my
education and internship experience to gain valuable work experience in a team
oriented environment.

A: I just want to say something about the maintenance of washing machine system.
I think we should keep the washer level, and clean the inside once a month.

B: Sorry to interrupt you, A. I do think that we must cut the power to avoid
electrical shock first.

A: I totally agree with you.

B: In my opinion, we should remove, and clean the filter to help the washer run
efficiently, and polish the outside.

A: I think that’s a fantastic idea. Another tip is to use a soft cloth to wipe up.

B: Absolutely, I agree with you.

A: I think we should replace the hoses every 7 years.

B: I apologize for interrupting you. I’m afraid 7 years is too long. How about
replacing the hoses every 5 years?

A: Alright. To sum up, what we decide to do is

1. First, cut power to avoid electrical shock.

2. Second, keep the washer level and clean the inside once a month.

3. Next, remove and clean the filter to help the washer run efficiently, and polish
the outside.

4. Finally, replace the hoses every 5 years.
