Integrity The quality of being honest and


having strong moral principles; moral
uprightness. Doing the right thing when
nobody's watching.

Evolve develops gradually, especially from


simple to a more complex form.

Complex consisting of many different and


connected parts. Complicated, intricate,
difficult.

15. Static stretching is held in a challenging but


comfortable position for a period of time,
usually somewhere between 30 to 60 seconds.
16. Dynamic stretching is performed by moving
through a challenging but comfortable range of
motion repeatedly, usually 10 or 12 times.
17. Passive Stretching means you’re using
some sort of outside assistance to help you
achieve a stretch.(This assistance could be your
body weight, a strap, leverage, gravity, another
person, or a stretching device.)
18. Active stretching means you’re stretching a
muscle by actively contracting the muscle in
opposition to the one you’re stretching. You do
not use your body weight, a strap, leverage,
gravity, another person, or a stretching device.

one, in which water molecules are chemically

25. Cartilage is a flexible connective tissue that
keeps joint motion fluid by coating the surfaces
of the bones in our joints and by cushioning
bones against impact.
Systematic Racism: Also known as institutional
racism. Is a form of racism that is embedded as
normal practice within society or an
organization. It can lead to such issues as
discrimination in criminal justice, employment,
housing, health care, political power, and
education, among other issues.
Caucasian: White-Skinned; of european origin.
Resume: A formal document that a job
applicant creates to itemize his or her
qualifications for a position/job.
Prevail: prove more powerful than opposing
forces; be victorious.

estimate of one’s own importance.
Ambiguous: Unclear or inexact because a
choice between alternatives has not been
made.
Feeble: Lacking physical strength, especially as
a result of age or illness.
Array: an impressive display or range of a
particular type of thing.
Democracy: a system of government by the
whole population or all the eligible members of
a state, typically through elected
representatives. Controlled by the majority of
its members, freedom.
REM SLEEP= Rapid eye movement. It normally
happens 90 minutes after you fall asleep. It can
last from 10 minutes to 1 hour. The brain is
more active. It provides energy to your brain
and it restores your mind. Essential for muscle
recovery and restoring the body. The blood
supply to the muscles increases, more oxygen
and nutrients go to muscles which facilitates
muscle healing and growth.
Empathy= The ability to understand and share
the feelings of another.
Docile= Ready to accept control or instruction;
submissive.
