1. Draw/Create a cartoon that reflects our society today. Provide a five-sentence paragraph for your
explanation.

When I started thinking of something that will reflect our society today this idea pops into my
mind. This cartoon represents the two major thing that our country faces today. In this, the bag
represents the indebtedness and below is a Filipino that suffers. Above the bag is a man which
represents the leader of the country that is confused if what he did is right or wrong. And the shark
represents China on whom our country owes money. Aside from the issue of indebtedness this also
depicts the issue of territory the scene happens under the water because what was slowly taken from
us is our rich vast of oceans. What I like most about it is that it seems like the shark may be so big
and frightening, but the Filipinos are brave enough to face whatever struggle they are facing.
