Company : GPR Power solution Pvt ltd, Chennai.
Project : Chetinad Cement plant, Ariyalur.

Work in estimation, erection, site control and commissioning of various HVAC& piping
systems. Having exposure with estimation, quality system, Vendor evaluation, technical
evaluation, witnessing Tests and inspection, Experience in erection, pre-commissioning,
Commissioning, startup and shutdown works. Experienced with quality control activities
involved in Installation and commissioning of various HVAC piping Packages such as chillers
with primary and secondary pumps, air handling units, package units, ducted units etc.

2. From July 2014 To Sep 2015

Job Responsibilities:

 Participate in the development of policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure
compliance with established policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes
and improvements to existing standards and procedures.
 Site execution of MEP works as per approved construction drawings.
 Coordination among civil & different MEP trades, interface with services, resolve
discrepancies.
 Supervision & field inspection of mechanical building services at the project site.
 Follow-up with other sub-contractors for daily progress of work at site, in order to achieve
planned milestone dates.
 Inspecting material related to mechanical building services and ensuring that it should fully
comply with Employer’s requirement.

 Ordering of building materials related to mechanical works required for the site, keeping in
view the approved manufacturer/supplier as per scope of works.
 Involved in QA/QC inspection works, Method statements and Inspection & test plan.
 Follow up for corrective and preventive actions against site instructions Quality observation
reports.
 Attending meeting with Client, consultants, architects, electro-mechanical contractors and
other representatives.
 Supervise the maintenance of the plant grounds by City landscape maintenance workers.
 Train all sanitation services division personnel in Class A driving, confined space entry and all
safety equipment and procedures; set-up and administer Department of Motor Vehicles Class
A driving route.
 Perform the more technical and complex tasks of the work unit including purchasing of all
maintenance and repair equipment and supplies.
 Execution of pipe line connection of primary, secondary and condenser pumps as per design.
 Checking the pipe supports, eccentric, concentric reducers, joints, perfect insulation without
leakage.
 Witnessing the three stage of welding test.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:-

 Certified Course in CNC Lathe & Milling (Program & Operation).

COMPUTER SKILLS:-
 CAD/CAE Packages: AutoCAD2006 and MS-Office.
