Lời nói đầu
Mình soạn bộ tài liệu được soạn ĐỘC QUYỀN này với cả tâm huyết mong bạn
cảm thấy tiếng anh – môn nói là điều gì đó vô cùng đơn giản, dễ dàng. Trong lúc
mình soạn tài liệu, và tại vì phong cách “nhí nhố” nên đôi khi lời giảng của mình
nó không mang tính “truyền thống” “mẫu mực kính ngữ”, hi vọng các bạn khó
tính có thể thông cảm, vì mình quan niệm sự vui vẻ và hài hước ở bài giảng sẽ
giúp chúng ta nhớ bài tốt hơn, thú vị hơn.
Với tất cả khả năng ngôn ngữ của mình, 8.0+ cho tất cả các kỹ năng, mình hi vọng,
“một đứa con gái nhà quê” học tiếng anh thành công như mình sẽ giúp bạn có
cách tiếp cận đơn giản, thoải mái, chân thực nhất. Một bộ tài liệu nơi mà bạn cảm
thấy đủ để luyện thi không cần tham khảo thêm quyển nào khác.

TOPIC NO.1 HOMETOWN

Thu âm ba câu hỏi Part 1 này nhé bạn. Mình sẽ chấm kỹ phát âm/ nhấn âm/ sửa đổi từ vựng
nâng band nếu bạn đã vững vàng với môn Speaking.
PART 1 .
Question 1. Where were you born?
I was born and raised in….. city/ province which is located in……….. It takes me around 2
hours to fly to Hanoi capital from my hometown.
Question 2. How often do you come back your hometown?

Not very often. Now I am living in Ho Chi Minh, and I get bogged down in/with work/study = I
am up to the ears in work/ study. I would say that I just pay a visit to hometown once/twice a
year.

Question 3. Do you prefer living in big cities or in countryside?

If I were to choose one of them, I would go with living in a metropolis like Ho Chi Minh city
because it offers me many job/study opportunities and top-notch facilities such as transport or
entertainment. But when I get old, I will think about living in somewhere off the beaten track
for tranquility.

PART 2 - A QUIET PLACE .

What: A quiet place is always a place where I can find my inner peace. So today I am gonna
tell you a tranquil place that I often go to and it is my grandparents’ hometown.
Where: My grandparents’ hometown is a countryside in …………province, located in the North
of Vietnam.
When: Whenever I have free time, I usually go back to pay a visit my grandparents and
connect the nature, you know I am living in a metropolis – a hectic city – Ho Chi Minh.
How: In this place, there are no cars horns, no companies or crowded people, you name it.
But you can find breathtaking views of mountains or poetic rivers where you can get a
sense of tranquility.
Why: I suppose if I had to answer why I am really into this place, I would say that just
because it is my hometown and you know home sweet home. Another reason is that I
consider myself as an introverted person and a nature geek as well. So, whenever I am
in nerve-racking time for study, I often go somewhere off the beaten track like my
hometown to let my hair down as well as recharge my battery.

Question 1. Why do many people rush into urban areas?

Sau một thoáng suy nghĩ, tôi nghĩ rằng có một vài lý do cơ bản tại sao người ta lại tràn vào
thành phố mỗi ngày một nhiều, chứ không phải là các khu vực nông thôn. Một là, bởi vì thành
phố luôn dồi dào các cơ hội việc làm và giáo dục, nhiều người muốn tìm được công việc tốt hoặc
tham gia các trường đại học uy tín ở những nơi này, từ đó, họ sẽ có một tương lai tươi sáng
hơn. Thứ hai là, các khu vực thành thị sẽ cung cấp các dịch vụ tốt về y tế, hoặc giải trí như là rạp
chiếu phim hoặc các khu mua sắm, vì vậy mọi người, đặc biệt là người trẻ sẽ thấy điều này rất
tiện lợi khi sinh sống ở đây.
• After a bit of thought, I can come up with some reasons why people flock into the
cities rather than the rural areas. The most apparent reason would be that the
cities offer more employment opportunities as well as better education, many
hope to find decent jobs or enroll in prestigious/top-ranked colleges, which will
ensure them a brighter future. In addition, urban areas tend to provide top-notch
facilites and services such as health care, cinemas or shopping malls, which make
cities ideal to the young.
Question 2. Should we encourage to move businesses out of big cities?

hoặc chuyển đến các vùng nông thôn. Một là, số lượng nhà máy và công ty trong thành phố quá
nhiều sẽ khiến không khí bị ô nhiễm trầm trọng do lượng carbon được thải ra trong không khí
quá mức, điều này sẽ khiến cho sức khoẻ người dân bị ảnh hưởng. Hai là, phải phân bổ nhà máy
và doanh nghiệp ở các vùng lân cận để mang lại cơ hội việc làm cho người dân ở đó, điều này
cũng giúp tránh tình trạng quá tải dân số trong một số thành phố lớn hiện nay.
• After a bit of thought , I think that businesses should be moved/resided to

surrounding areas such as suburbs, or rural areas. First, too many factories and
companies in the city will seriously pollute the air due to the amount of carbon
released into the air, which will affect people's health. Second, it is necessary to
allocate factories and businesses in the vicinity to provide employment
opportunities for the people there, which also helps to avoid overcrowding in some
large cities today.

Describe an interesting job you would like to do in the future
What: Today I am going to tell you about a business that I would like to run in coming time –
it is a coffee shop.
When: To be honest, I am saving up money now, and I am planning to open it 2 years later.
Where: The coffee shop will be located near the complex/bustling areas (like schools, hospitals,
companies) simply because I want to have target customers like (workers, students,
white-and blue collars, or foreigners, you name it)
How: When it comes to staff, I reckon that I need some waiters who can give me a hand in
taking orders, cleaning or serving, some baristas to make the best drinks for
customers.
Speaking of the decoration: it will be nice in modern but comfy and cozy atmosphere.
It will be more perfect to have a small garden, you see, my customers will have fresh
air and easily connect to nature, yup, forget the hectic life for a while).
Why: Taking about the reasons why I want to make this dream come true.
First, I consider myself as a coffee lover, so I hope to bring the best and tasty coffee to
everyone, especially traditional coffee in Vietnam.
The second thing is that this industry is lucrative, I mean it requires low investment
and fast recovery. Believe it or not, If I run it will, I can make a killing from my own
business.

Question 1. What are the most valuable jobs in your country?
Sau một thoáng suy nghĩ, tôi cho rằng bác sĩ và giáo viên là hai công việc danh giá nhất trong xã
hội Việt Nam. Rõ ràng, bác sĩ có thể cứu người và giáo viên có thể giáo dục con người, vì vậy họ
nhận dược rất nhiều sự tôn trọng từ người khác. Đi sâu vào chi tiết một chút cho nghề nhà giáo,
đây là công việc sẽ đóng góp trực tiếp cho sự phát triển của một quốc gia. Một nền giáo dục tốt
sẽ mang đến lực lượng lao động tốt để phát triển kinh tế, hoặc sẽ giảm tỉ lệ tội phạm trong xã
hội. Tuy nhiên, tôi cũng thấy rằng. mọi nghề nghiệp đều quan trọng và nên được đánh giá cao
trong xã hội.
• After a bit of thought, I suppose doctor and teacher are the two most noble jobs
in Vietnamese society. It is obvious that doctors can save people lives while
teachers can educate people, so they command a lot of respect from others. As an
in-depth view into the job of teaching, this is a profession directly contributing to
the improvement of a nation. A decent educational system will create a strong
workforce that drives the economy as well as decrease crime rates. Nevertheless,
I also believe that all professions are equally important and should be appreciated
regardless.
Question 2. Why do many people often change their jobs?

Từ quan sát của tôi, tôi cho rằng job-hopping (nhảy việc) rất phổ biến trong những năm gần
đây. Có 2 lý do chính cho điều này. Một là, nhiều người cảm thấy chán với công việc hiện tại. Họ
không hài lòng về công việc, về lương, hoặc về môi trường làm việc, vì vậy, họ muốn thay đổi
việc để tìm kiếm những đột phá mới. Hai là, sự phát triển của công nghệ thông tin hiện đại dễ
làm cho các kỹ năng công việc trở nên lỗi thời, nên nhiều người phải thay đổi việc liên tục vì họ
không thể xoay xở với các công việc liên quan đến công nghệ, đặc biệt là nhất người làm việc
thâm niên (senior workers).
• From my observation, I suppose that job-hopping has been gaining popularity in
recent years. There are two notable reasons for this. First, some are just bored to
death by their current jobs. Or they are unsatisfied with the nature their
employments, their salaries, or their workplaces, therefore they wish to hop in
hope of new breakthroughs. Second, the considerable growth in state-of-the-art
technology tends to make people working skills obsolete, forcing many of them to
rotate jobs frequently for not being able to cope with the advancement of
technology, especially the senior workers.

What: I taught swimming skills for my little sister.

When + When: 3 years ago, my family took a trip to Nha Trang to let off some steam after the
nerve-racking time of work. You see, Nha Trang has gained a reputation for a
pristine beach in Vietnam. At first, we took part in many water sports and
enjoyed the activities on the beach. Then we went swimming. To tell you the
truth, my little sister (at the time, 10 years old) was sad and was sitting on
the sand with a blue face (gương mặt buồn bã) because she couldn’t swim.
She had a fear of water. I decided to teach her this skill.
How: I taught her how to warm up before going swimming, how to breathe in the
right way, how to keep calm, take a deep breath before jumping into water.
At first, she screamed and cried but finally, with my patience and
encouragement, she overcame the fear and started swimming. You see, I
then taught her some basic swimming strokes (butterfly stroke, backstroke).
When she learnt the ropes (học được điều cơ bản), she became keen on this
kind of sport. I am very proud of her for that.
Kết thúc: You know, swimming is a survival skill, so it is very important to master.
Besides, going swimming is a way to help to get lean (giữ dáng), reduce the
wear and tear (giảm độ hao mòn) of your body and build tenacity (xây dựng
lòng kiên trì). More importantly, swimming does wonders for your health.

Vâng, chắc chắn là có. Khuyến khích trẻ tham gia thể thao sẽ tốt cho trẻ cả về mặt tinh thần và
thể chất. Một là, về mặt thể chất, chơi thể thao sẽ giúp trẻ có thể lực tốt, đặc biệt hệ tiêu hoá sẽ
phát triển để giúp trẻ hấp thụ chất tốt hơn. Hai là, về mặt tinh thần, trẻ sẽ rất năng động và có
lối sống tích cực. Một số trẻ em ngày nay rất nghiện ti vi (couch potato) nên đã có lối sống thụ
động (sedentary lifestyle), khuyến khích trẻ chơi thể thao là cách để cải thiện điều này.

Question 2. Are skills in sports similar as much as working skills?

kỹ năng làm việc nhóm, tương tác (interpersonal skills) trong khi tham gia các môn ngoài trời
như bóng chuyền, bóng đá sẽ tương tự như kỹ năng làm việc nhóm đi tham gia lao động. Điều
chính yếu là bạn phải phối hợp tốt với người xung quanh để tạo ra kết quả tốt nhất. Tuy nhiên,
có rất nhiều kỹ năng công việc sẽ khác với kỹ năng thể thao vì mỗi công việc sẽ yêu cầu các kỹ
năng chuyên môn vì công nghệ, hoặc về tính toán, nên sự so sánh giữa 2 bên là không tương
thích (incompatible).
• Well I suppose, from certain perspectives, sports and working skills are quite
similar. For instance, team-working and interpersonal skills in outdoor sports like
volleyball, football share some resemblances with those we use in a working group.
The point is to cooperate with others to produce the best result. Nevertheless,
there are a lot of working skills that have nothing to do with sports, such as
technological or calculation expertise, so they are incompatible.

I consider myself as an avid reader. I read many genres of books such as novels, textbooks or
comic books, you name it. Reading book can do wonders for my mind, soul and languages, you

I would say that I seldom go there. Currently, I am a senior/worker, and of course, I am busy as

Oh, I’ve never thought about this before. To be honest, I dont have a knack for writing, even
writing a book or writing movie plots (kịch bản phim). But If I were a movie director, I would
make a movie about love – a kinda romantic film because I am a diehard fan of romance.
Question 5. Do you prefer watching movies at home or in the cinema?

I prefer watching movies in the cinema. It offers me an authentic environment, you know, and
with sound and visual effects. I also can enjoy the latest movies = latest installments there. Last
weekend, I hit to the cinema to enjoy the new movive called “….” It’s really a blast!

PART 2 – TV SHOW .
Describe a TV or radio show that you regularly watch or listen to
What: My all-time favorite program is Who wants to be a millionaire. This is the most
respectable and interesting show in my opinion. I think you may have heard about this
show before because it is really well-known and wide-spread among many countries.
When: The show is usually on air on every Sunday night. Even I am busy as a bee with my
work, I still try to carve my time out of my schedule of watch it every weekend.
How: Well the show is basically a question-answer type of challenge where the host of the
program throws questions at the candidate. The question’s difficulty can range from
extremely easy level such as “what letter comes after C in the alphabet?” to incredibly
difficult one such as “How many legs does an ant have?”
So, the player really really needs to be a polymath to win this game–a polymath I
mean Mr. Know-it-all or in other words, a person with extensive knowledge about
basically every aspect of life.
Why: The reason why it’s called “who wants to be a millionaire’ is because the final prize for
the game is 1 million dollars for the winner – which is an enormous amount of money I
think. But I suppose this is a fair prize for people with extensive knowledge. It kinda
encourages people to become more and more aware of the world surrounding them.
And in the future If I possible I would definitely have a crack at taking part in the game
and try to win 1 million dollars.

Question 1. Do you think featuring famous artists is important for a movie’s success?
Tôi không nghĩ như vậy. Chiến lược này có một số tác dụng không thể phủ nhận, vâng, ví dụ, nó
chắc chắn sẽ thu hút sự phổ biến/ sự chú ý ngay từ đầu, bởi vì bạn biết đấy, các diễn viên nổi
tiếng, và họ có một lương fan hâm mộ rất lớn. Nhưng nếu nội dung của bộ phim tệ thì tôi không
nghĩ nghĩ rằng nó có thể trở thành một thành công mặc dù có sự tham gia những ngôi sao nổi

• I wouldn’t think so. The strategy has some undeniable effects yes, for example it
can definitely gain popularity at the beginning, because you know, the actors are
well-known who have a huge number of loyal fan. But if the content of the movie
is bad then, I wouldn’t think it could become a success even though it has famous
stars in it. There have been so many examples of movies that have actors with
Oscar awards but still fail terribly due to bad storytelling.
Question 2. Do people with different ages like different kinds of movies?

Nó còn tuỳ vào sở thích cá nhân mỗi người. Bố tôi thích xem những phim cũ nhưng mà ông tôi
thì lại thích phim hành động kiểu mới, hihi. Tuy nhiên, từ những gì tôi thấy thì phần lớn mọi
người sẽ muốn xem cái gì đó mà tương tự/ giống họ, ở một vài góc độ nào đó thì là như vậy.
Điều này sẽ đúng với người lớn tuổi bởi vì họ ghét những thứ mới. Đồng ý không? ^^
• It is all down to everyone’s personal preference really. My father loves watching
old movies but my grandfather loves modern action movies instead. But from what
I can see, the vast majority of people would want something that are similar to
them to some degree. This is especially true with older people since they tend to
hate new things.

How: People brought with them sentimental values such as flowers, cards
or wine rather than monetary values. But only my uncle gave me an
envelope with money inside. I was too shy to get that money but my
uncle understood that I was broke and that time I had to tighten my
belt for daily stuff such as foods and for rents. So, I was so grateful for
his kindness actually.

What: Concentration is my kinda thing. When you are asking me about something
that helps me stay focus effectively, you probably guess that I am talking
about music, a picture or an app. However, for me, it is a technique in yoga
called Meditation.
When + Where: 2 years ago, after nerve –racking time of work, I went online to something
entertaining to let my hair down. I came across a video teaching about
Medication. It inspired me a lot to be honest. You know, I consider myself as
a hot temper person and I am easily distracted by something like noises, it is
a good chance for me to give myself a try – practice this skill to improve the
situation. Believe it or not, it worked on me totally, especially on my
concentration.
How: To be more specific, you may know that yoga involves in stretching actions,
but Meditation involves in regulating your breath. You don’t need to go to
pagodas or mountains to do this, you can do this skill anywhere, anytime
you can. All the thing you need is focusing on your breath and your world,
forget about the surrounding things for a while, then you can keep working
effortlessly without worrying about anything else. But, it takes years to
master to tell you the truth.
Why: Talking about the reasons why I am really into this technique. As I told you, I
am easily distracted by noises, phone calls, ring bell, so to stay calm and stay
focus, I often found a clutter –free environment to work in the past. But
since the day I knew about Meditation, it helps me boost my productivity
effectively. Besides, if you practice this skill regularly, it can do wonders for
your health.

• There are multiple distractions which affect me a lot. The biggest one is my
smartphone which keeps buzzing constantly and takes my attention away from
studies/work. The noise from my neighbors also caused my distraction. I could not

Question 1. Do you like travelling?
I have itchy feet. I often come to intriguing landscapes to explore new things, such as new
people, new cultures, new landscape and enjoy the local cuisines. It’s a way to broaden my

Question 3. In which seasons do you prefer to travel?
Summer, summer is the best time for trip, especially trips to the beach. Not only because of
summer vacation, but also because I love the sun, I can go for a dip, sun-bathing and a ton of
outdoor activities such as volleyball, swimming.

I tend to prefer travelling with group of people. You know, simply because I want something
safe and sound. On top of that, It’s also kinda economical, you know, when you can split the
costs of accommodation or foods. And yeah, it seems to me that the more, the merrier.

What: I’m gonna tell you about my favorite place. That is Phu Quoc island.
Where: You know, Phu Quoc island, located in the south of Vietnam, and it has gained a
reputation for being a paradise of resorts or the most pristine and untouched beach in
Vietnam. And what’s more, it is a perfect place for travelling and photography.

kilometers and of course, it takes us around 2 hours to get there.
How: You know there are many reasons why I love this place so much. Firstly, it is incredibly
beautiful with thousands of things to explore , especially undersea world. I went for a
dip = went swimming and immersed myself in water and I experienced the memorable
swimming to see magnificent coral and the magical marine life. I also took a camera
with me to capture the stunning, breathtaking natural sceneries, the painted sunset.
Other than that, how amazing it was when tasting local cuisines as well as delicious
seafood.

Sau khi suy nghĩ một chút, tôi cho là lý do chính mà người ta thích cảnh tự nhiên hơn các cảnh
vật toà nhà là vì họ đã quá quen với các công trình bê tông (concrete constructions) như là công
ty văn phòng, trường học hay nhà máy. Vì vậy, họ muốn đến những nơi tự nhiên như núi đồi,
biển cả để thay đổi không gian thư giãn. Ngoài ra, các cảnh vật tự nhiên luôn mang đến cảm

• After a bit of thought, I can point to the main reason why people prefer natural
landscapes over the urban jungles is that they are too familiar with the concrete
constructions like office buildings, schools or factories. Therefore, they would love
a retreat to open spaces like the woods or the beaches for a change. In addition,
untouched scenery always makes people feel fresh and relaxing. Studies suggest
that the colour green and blue tend to chill people out.

Du lịch sinh thái đang dần phổ biến ở Việt Nam trong những năm gần đây. Tuy nhiên, nó không
có nhiều sự đặc sắc/ không thu hút được nhiều người vì một số tính hạn chế như sau. Thứ nhất,
chỉ có một vài các vườn sinh thái ở Việt Nam, như vườn quốc gia Cúc Phương, vì vậy du khách,
đặc biệt là người Việt Nam sẽ ưu tiên cho nhiều sự lựa chọn khác. Thứ hai, tôi nghĩ tôi khá thích
hình thức du lịch Xanh này vì nó khiến con người có cơ hội nhìn ngắm động thực vật, từ đó nâng
cao sự trân quý (enhance the appreciation) đối với tự nhiên.
• Ecotourism has been gaining in popularity in recent years. Nevertheless, it is not

always the most iconic or attractive due to some limitations. First, there have only
been a few reserves in Viet Nam that open for business, such as the Cuc Phuong
National Park, therefore tourists, especially local ones, would opt for other
destinations. However, I do fancy this type of travelling because it gives people the
precious chance to admire the beauty of nature, which will enhance their
appreciation for the environment.

You’ll think I am gonna tell you bout Pho, it is kinda national stereotype. Personally speaking,
Broken Rice is the special food in my country. It is really lip-smacking with bold flavors.
Question 2. Are there any kinds of foods you don't like?

Durian. Without doubt, durian. I am allergic with durian. It smells awful. It puts me off, you
know.
Question 3. What kinds of foods do you like?

To be honest, I have a sweet tooth. Whenever I see cakes or candies, they will make my mouth
watering.
Question 4. Do you prefer eating at home or eating out?

I consider myself as a family-oriented person, so I would say that I eat at home most of the
time. Besides, It is more economical because I can go to the markets to buy fresh ingredients
and prepare meals by myself. However, when it comes to events, lavish or gourmet restaurants
are the best choices for a variety of foods and services.

What: I consider myself as a practical person, so I once in blue moon make

handmade gifts for anyone because it is kinda time-consuming and
painstaking. I often buy monetary gifts for people when it comes to
special events. However, there was a time that I put my efforts to make a
gift for my mom.
Where + Where: It was on my mom’s 50th birthday – a milestone of her life, and I wanna
make something special to show my affection to her. I decided to make
sushi – coz she is a real sucker for sushi – one of Japanese cuisines and
delicacies. Of course, I could take her to her go-to restaurant to enjoy this
food, as I told you, money doesn't matter but the thought that counts.
How: I went to the market to prepare some basic ingredients such as salmon,
vegetables, meat, seaweed. To be honest, I am quite a novice in cooking,
I needed a lot of help from Youtube channel to make this food. It took me
4 hours to get it done. Wow!!! Cooking actually is not my forte ^^
Why: When I presented this gift for her, she was moved and even she burst
into tears, she said that how a clumsy girl/boy like me can do that. She
was really really happy for that, and she loved this gift so much. Her
compliments actually made me over the moon. I realized that sentimental
gifts bring a lot of values to senders.

• There are various factors contributing to the success of a restaurant. The most
notable of which is gourmet food. Without doubt, customers are willing to revisit/
pay a second visit if they are served fresh and delicious meals. Second, good service
is just as important. Customers love professional and courteous waiters who are
light on their feet. Nevertheless, the factor I want to emphasize on is location. From
my observation, a restaurant’s venue more often than not decides its income.
Situated in a buzzing neighborhood or near a tourist attraction, it will sell like a hot
cake despite its quality not being the best or even just mediocre. You can’t expect
to pull it off in the middle of nowhere with good food alone, right?
Question 2. What do you think about foreign foods in Vietnam?

• Foreign foods restaurants are shrooming in Viet Nam, especially in urban areas.
We have a variety of culinary choices like Japanese, Korean, or even Mexican. It is
a real chance to have a taste of dishes around the world without physical travel.
Nevertheless, the proliferation of foreign foods has been overshadowing our
national specialties, for many won’t continue to cook traditional dishes. Sad but
true.

Question 1. Are you living in a house or a flat?
I have been living in a house with my parents for ages, on a bustling street, to be more specific
15 years. I’d say that my house is relatively spacious. It’s kinda well-furnished and well-
equipped.
Question 2. What do you see from the windows?

From the window of my bedroom, I have a view of a garden of my family. It brings me a green
look with plants and flowerbeds. It’s literally chill out when enjoying such a view.
Question 3. Are there anything from your house you want to change?
Actually, I am living on a bustling street as I told you, so the pace of life is very noisy. If I had a
chance, I would like to move to a quieter place in coming time where I can live in a clutter-free
environment.

PART 2 – DESCRIBE A BUILDING .
What: To be honest, I am not a real sucker for building, architecture or the like.
However, the first thing about buildings that springs to my mind is Bitexco
Tower. It is one of the stunning symbols of Ho Chi Minh city, and it has
gained a reputation for one the tallest skyscrapers around Asia.
Where + Where: If my memory serves me right, I first went there 2 years ago, and it left a
very strong impression in my mind. Bitexco Tower is located on a bustling
street – Dong Khoi street, Ho Chi Minh city.
How: I have no idea about architecture, to be completely honest with you. I just
tell you some descriptions about it. It was erected in the shape of Lotus- a
national flower of Vietnam, and it has a state- of – the- art design. What
strikes me the most is that the helipad was built on the 50th floor of this
high building, and if you want to catch breathtaking views at night, you
can drop by the coffee house on 52th floor of this building. It never lets
you down for the beauty it offers.
Why: There are some reasons why I mention to Bitexco Tower. First, I suppose it
is a must-travel place for everyone, not only for its uquine beauty but also
for its recreational purposes. Bitexco Tower is famous for the largest
commercial center around Ho Chi Minh where you can satisfy your
shopping demands, especially if you always set your heart (khao khát) on
hunting high-end items. Second, if you are a real sucker for photography,
don't ever miss this place.

there?
Ôi, câu này khó thật sự, lý do đó là tôi không sõi lắm về các chủ đề biến đổi khí hậu cũng như
kiến trúc xây dựng. Với kiến thức hạn hẹp thì tôi cho là nếu khí hậu nóng, thì các nhà xây dựng
sẽ xây dựng các tòa nhà để giữ mát nhất có thể. Nhưng nếu bạn ở vùng khí hậu lạnh thì bạn có
thể tìm thấy lớp cách nhiệt kép trên cửa sổ, hoặc những ngôi nhà sẽ được xây dựng để giữ nhiệt
càng nhiều càng tốt. Nó khá phổ biến khi nhìn thấy một ngôi nhà với một loạt các hiên và hiên

• Oh, ain’t this a real puzzle? I am not all that proficient in the topic of climate change
as well as architecture design. With the somewhat limited knowledge of mine, if
the climate is hot, then the builders will construct the buildings to stay as cool as
possible. But if you are in a cold climate then you might find double insulation on
the windows, or the houses will be built to retain heat as much as possible. It’s
quite common to see a house with a bunch of open porches and verandas in a hot
climate. And probably every room will have a hole for an air conditioning vent. But
colder climates will most likely have central heating.
Question 2. In your opinion, should cities have many high-rise buildings or traditional
houses?
Tôi nghĩ là nên. Các thành phố nên tập trung xây dựng các toà nhà cao tầng vì tình trạng thiếu
đất càng ngày càng trở nên nghiêm trọng. Đối mặt với tình trạng đó, các toà nhà cao tầng sẽ
cung cấp đủ chổ ở cho dân cư trong thành thị. Ngoài ra, khuyến khích xây dựng các toà nhà cao
tầng thay vì toà nhà truyền thống sẽ giúp tiết kiệm được rất nhiều đất công cộng, mở đường
cho các toà nhà công cộng như bệnh viện, trường học, công ty, nhà máy mọc lên để phục vụ cho
các cuộc sống người dân.
• I think that skyscrapers are inevitable in the cities due to the increasing shortage
of living space. To cope with such condition, they need to build high-risers to
accommodate all the inhabitants. In addition, promoting high-rise buildings will
free a lot of land for public facilities like hospitals, schools, office buildings and
factories to address the needs of the people.

Question 1. Do you often sing?
• You know, singing is not my forte, but sometimes, I often sing along to music and do
some shuffling sometimes. It is hilarious for myself but I get into it.
• Yes, singing is my kinda thing. When I was a child, I was harboring a dream to become
a famous singer like Taylor Swift. I think it is sweet but I gave up that dream for other
stuff.
Question 2. Where do you listen to music?

Everywhere, at home, stream music on the websites or my Mp3 player. On the move – I listen
to music makes my commute less boring – sometimes, hit to the concert to enjoy the golden
voices.
Question 3. Can you play musical instruments?

• Oh, actually no. I had tried several times, but I think I do not have a knack for it. It is
out of question. But I am really into listening to guitar or piano sounds.

What: Today I’m going to talk about my favorite song that I listen over and over again.
Who: The song is called Give It To Me – which is performed by Son Tung MTP. To tell you the
truth, he is a prominent singer with a great vocal in Vietnam. His music is always all
the rage and it is usually played in all sorts of nightclubs and café. If Son Tung MTP is
an endorser for any products, it’s gonna sell like a hot cake.
When: If my memory serves me right, when the song was released to the public several
months ago, it hit the world by a storm.
How: I am addicted to this song by its catchy melody and lyrics. The I sing along to the music
all the time, on the move, in the bathroom, and in my bedroom. When I listen the
song, I also do some shuffling, I mean, I move my body to the music. It is really a blast!
Why: The reason why I prefer it to other songs is the lyrics. You know, the song tells a story
about sad love with heart-wrenching stories, and it really touches my heart. Now I am
trying to play this song with my guitar skills, but to be honest, I am just a novice.

• In my view starting to learn when you are young is the best option, you know the
younger, the better. Children's minds are so impressionable when they are young,
they retain information and soak it up like a sponge. Therefore, they can develop
their musical skills and see if they have a talent for it. if you start learning later in
life, it will probably be more difficult to find the time, to have lessons and to
practice.
Question 2. What do old people like to listen to?

• They like to listen to traditional music and sometimes classical. I don't think they
like to listen to pop songs or anything heavy, maybe they listen to the radio but
something that is more relaxing. For instance, my grandma like to listen to a radio
station that has a mixed programme of stories, interviews, plays and classical
music.

Today, I’m going to talk about Ho Chi Minh who is well-known in my country. He was the first
President of Vietnam who led the whole nation to independence.
As a citizen of Vietnam, it is normal for everybody to know him because children are educated
about him since starting to go to school. Since I knew Ho Chi Minh, I have seen a lot of films and
read a lot of books about him. He is always my greatest idol to study and follow.
The reason why he is well-known in my country is that Ho Chi Minh devoted his life to our
nation. If he had not been born in Vietnam, our country could have been invaded by other
countries. I admire him for a number of reasons. Firstly, President Ho was a very determined
man. He showed his determination at a very young age when he decided to travel to France to
obtain knowledge, hoping to find a way to rescue the nation. During his journey, he did various
jobs to survive despite many difficulties. Being inspired by him, I have been working very hard
to fulfill my dream until I can achieve it. Secondly, I knew that Uncle Ho was very good at
foreign languages, he could speak fluently fifteen languages. In fact, I have been studying

English for ages but I haven't been satisfied with my English. I think this is a good opportunity to
learn his experiences to improve my English level.

What: Well, I’m going to tell you about the most important decision that I made in my life,
it’s not about owning a car or buying a house, but studying abroad.
Where: The story I’ll tell you, I guess, has a great impact on my career later. I remember,
after my graduation, I had to face with a dilemma of whether I should go to work
immediately or get a chance to study overseas. At that time, I graduated with
distinction, so I received a good offer from a reputable company with handsome
salary.
How: However, I always had set my heart (mong muốn) on studying abroad so I couldn’t
sleep a wink (không ngủ được) for a long time to take everything into consideration
carefully. I went around and turned to my parents for advice before making the final
decision. You know, my parents thought that it is impossible to pay top dollar for the
pricey school fee and the cost of living in Australia where the cost of everything is
way higher than that in Vietnam. My friends, they advised me not to study oversea
since I already had such a good offer for a decent job.
Honestly, their words seem reasonable and they really made me confused. However,
as I told you, my intention to study abroad was not a spontaneous decision, I
nourished my dream when I was a high school student and I worked hard for the
IELTS as well as relevant papers for school admission. Without doubt, I could have an
access to advanced education system to enrich my knowledge and sharpen my skills.
Why: I think that it is amazing to be exposed to new culture and people to broaden my
horizons. These are the reasons why I hold on my dream as I believe that studying
abroad would open up more job opportunities for me in the future and I will be more
mature and confident. Studying abroad is one of the sound decisions I’ve ever made
in my life.

What: Recently, I have had an amazing trip to Hong Kong you know Hong Kong has gained a
reputation for a paradise of shopping and I had a really good time to experience this
in a popular street market. To be honest, I can’t remember the name of the market
distinctly coz I am not good at Chinese or Mandarin but in English it’s called Ladies
Market, which is located in the heart of Hong Kong.
When: The market opens from 9am to 11pm (eleven). It is quite busy from 6pm to 9pm. I got
there at 7pm and people are packed like sardines in that market. I mean, there was
super crowded and noisy, I’ve never seen any bustling street like that in VN or
somewhere else though I have travelled to many places.
How: There are thousand kinds of goods such as clothes, jewelry tea sets, handicrafts,
electronics, and many famous brand names are available there , but often priced very
cheaply coz many of these goods are fakes or copies. Off the top of my head, i f you
can’t find what you want here, it doesn’t exist.
One more thing, before the trip my friends reminded me over and over again that
“Let bargain when shopping”. It’s true, you know when I bought some kinds of items
as souvenirs. For every item, I made a bargain down the price by 50% and it worked
oh my god, it seems to be terrible to someone who doesn’t know about this and of
course overpay.
Why: You know that Ladies Market left a strong impressive in mind about foods, about
people you know the foods are very various and scrumptious and the atmosphere’s
very vibrant. If I have a chance I will come back and buy more.

I am not a punctual person, to be honest. I often leave things to the last minutes. I must admit

What: Today, I am going to tell you about a special day out but it didn’t cost me a
lot. It was on my 18th birthday which was a milestone of my life. Actually,
when I was younger, birthdays were always a big deal. I often threw big
parties with my family and my friends. And you know, they often cost me
a fortune.
When: However, when I was 18 years old that was the first time that I moved to
Ho Chi Minh city for education, and you know, I got far away from my
family. To tell you the truth, at that time, I did not do anything for my 18th
birthday at the first place.
How: But then I decided to invite some new classmates for drinks. Unluckily,
they were up to the ears in homework. I would say that I was little bit
disappointed.
Then, I hit the cinema, I bought a ticket and some pop-corns, all of which
cost me around 3 dollars, and I watched movie alone on the special day.
To be honest, I felt lonely a little bit at the end of the day, but it was great
to enjoy a blockbuster movie with awesome sound and visual effects in an
authentic environment.
Why: This day was so memorable to me. After coming my apartment, I was
caught off guard by a big present that my parents sent to me with lots of
best wishes, and I was over the moon for this.

Yes, I think that self-scheduling skill is of paramount importance to everyone, especially
successful people. First, the more successful people are, the more responsibility they carry.
They have to juggle their ever-increasing load of work within the same time frame, which
requires outstanding time consciousness. Second, being successful raises a lot of competition, if
they do not want to lag behind their peers, they have to manage time well to stay ahead of the
curve.

Well there are various ways actually. First, there have been an increasing number of courses on
time management skills available. Youngsters are taking them more and more seriously
nowadays. Or they can just learn on the job. That means learning from practical experience and

Last year, I bought a camera at a brick-and-mortar shop with high reputation after saving up
money for a long time (you know, I am a student, and I live on my tight budget). But frankly
speaking, I just use it a couple of times since the day it was bought.
This camera cost me a fortune because it comes from a really brand-name – Sony which is a
prominent company about technology, specializing in camera. I take my camera with me
whenever I have time for travelling (to be honest, I have itchy feet). Several months ago, I went
to some beautiful cities and regions of Vietnam, and I took a bunch of gorgeous photos about

Actually, I consider myself a highly responsible customer. I am not a shopaholic. Take clothes
for example, I only shop for clothes once or twice a year, and even then I only pick up the

DESCRIBE A BAD WEATHER EXPERIENCE YOU HAD
What: When it comes to weather, the first thing that springs in my mind is
torrential rain in January last year.
When: I remembered it was pouring in my city, which is Ho Chi Minh City for a
whole week and there was no telling when the rain was going to stop.
How: Then the rain seemed never stop, when I looked at roads, they became
clogged and gridlock was very common, especially on that day. Easily, I
could see a long line a people stocking up for food and other supplies.
How awful it was! Normally, in spring, the temperature is neither too hot
nor too cold, and sometimes it brings some intermittent showers and
drizzles.
Why (it is so memorable): However, the heavy rain on that day was
unexpected. So I had to stay at home and I couldn’t go out to run my
errands, which made me bored to death. So I got down in my dump, then I
surfed Facebook and read book to kill the time. And you know, I hate=
detest the heavy rain, as it always gets me a little bit filthy.

Well it certainly does. Most people would feel blue on gloomy or rainy days, some even get
depressed or grumpy in long winters. For example, Nordic countries always report significantly
higher suicide rate in the winter. In coping with that, people in these countries would take
refuge from the cold season by going to tropical countries for vacation.
Question 2 What jobs can be affected by different weather conditions?

Well, foremost, I'd say they are outdoor jobs. Construction worker is the most notable example
of this type. Heavy rain or intensive heat can cause great suffering for these workers as well as
hinder their workrate. But for me, the most vulnerable job before weather would be farmer. A
drought or a flood, even minor one, strucken at the critital time, can decimate the crop,
rendering them pennyless.

I would say that I am not a nature geek, although I am quite really into planting. I planted some

River in English. Huong river flows through an ancient city, Hue city in the

When: 1 year ago, after being up to the ears in homework, my friends and I went
to Hue city to let off some steam, and this was a chance to one of my
friends pay a visit to her family and relatives.
However, I’m not going to talk about the details about Hue but Huong
River which left a strong impression in me for its unique and original
beauty.
How: Talking about its beauty. In daylight, it flows gently and smoothly, it has
jadestone color which makes it elegant, beautiful. At night, the river is
gorgeous with moonlight, the whole view of river is picturesque Luckily, at
that time , the weather was very perfect, and it seemed that I got a sense
of tranquility, avoided the hectic life of Ho Chi Minh city for a while, to be
frank.
Why: The reason why I mention this river is that Huong River is very charming. I
find it romantic when it comes to sunset, under the tender sunshine,
everything became breathtaking.
On that day I took a stroll along the river, I took many impressive photos
about its beauty, I really highly-recommend it when you have a chance to
visit Hue city, Huong River is a must- travel place. It is not kinda
somewhere off the beaten track, but you can inner peace when you come
here.
Other than that, you may want to know that the land of both sides of the
river is thriving with houses, temples, pagodas and stores, anything you
need.

Well, to be honest, Viet Nam is quite a tourist attraction. Tourists flock to our country more and
more every year. First, we have those who come for the cultural experience. Viet Nam has a
long history embedded with rich cultural values, various historical sites and landmarks. Then
there are those who come for the scenery. Viet Nam is also blessed with magnificent natural
beauty, from imposing ranges of mountain and amazing stone caves to sunny beaches laden
with coconut trees.
Question 2. What do you think are the impacts of tourism in your country?
Well, tourism has great impacts on our society and economy. On the bright side, it brings a
good flow of income, especially for coastal provinces where most residents live in poverty. It
creates thousands of jobs with lucrative pay which help them make a living in their own
hometown. But on the other hand, tourism is infamous for its negative impacts on the local
environment. Irresponsible littering from tourists as well as service providers is the major issue,
along with the tampering with untouched nature for the purpose of tourism.

know, the groom sang a song “nothing gonna change my love for you” for his charming bride.
And then all people were moved totally. And our bride burst into tears for her happiness. After
the party, we hit to the karaoke club, we sang together and we enjoyed all happy moment
together.

Today, I am going to tell you about a special piece of clothes, a traditional dress, Ao Dai which I
wore on a special occasion.
3 months ago, I was invited to a wedding of my best friend. On her big day, I was so very happy
and honored to be the bridesmaid.
The wedding took place in one of the finest restaurants in Ho Chi Minh city. That was the
reason why I wanted to more beautiful. Normally, I am not a kinda person who often wears
something to kill.
But at that time, choosing a suitable dress became a headache to me. At first, I tried over and
over again many types of clothes. I got unsatisfied at all. Luckily, my brother gave a dress, a
traditional dress with a unique beauty.
The dress has a jadestone color. It is embedded with charming patterns. I couldn’t find enough
words to express how beautiful it is. And I love it at the first sight. It fits me 100% perfect. On
that day, I was so confident about my look and I got many compliments from friends that they
love the dress that I was wearing that day so much.

When and Where: I remember that when I was young, I was keen on watching the cartoon called “The many

and even paid no attention to my other presents.
How: This stuffed bear was, incredibly, identical to the character in the cartoon I had watched. He also had a
short red shirt and was holding a jar of honey which was his favorite food. Therefore, I felt as if he had come
from the movie.
Why: Since then, I considered him my closest friend and I couldn‟t go anywhere without him, even when I
went to sleep. Every day, I talked with the bear and told him about my daily routine. Unfortunately, I lost the
bear at an amusement center, I could help but cry/crying for almost a week. At that time, I felt like I had lost
a good friend who I could share everything with.
At present, whenever I watch this cartoon or see any photos of Winnie the Pooh, all the wonderful memories
about him are brought back. Thanks to the bear, I experienced a happy childhood.

-Did you ever buy something advertised on TV or online?
Yes I have done that before, twice I think. The first is when I made a purchase about a T-Shirt which was
advertised on the teli but it turned out to be not as good as they guaranteed. Then I got some books
from an online store “Amazon website” which I think is very good value for the money
-What do you think about street advertisements?
Well, I think they are very interesting and necessary. First, they are there to help with the market, you
know, brand names are advertised and customers gain awareness about them. And they can be seen as
decoration for the streets. What I find interesting about them is that many of the ads are really smart
and fun to look at. And in my opinion a street is better-looking with good advertisements
PART 2 – DESCRIBE A COMPLAINT .

I rarely file a complaint to anyone, as I think no one is infallible, so being tolerant and open-minded is a
good trait. You know, to err is human. However, there was this time when I was so enraged that I had to
lodge a complaint, and the results did live up to my expectations.
It was the time when I ordered a smartphone online after weighing the pros and cons carefully. I arrived
at a conclusion to pick a shop with a good reputation, just because I was so impressed by the reviews and
comments of the previous customers who had purchased products from the shop. However, when I
opened the parcel delivered by a postman, to my astonishment and anger, the stuff inside was not a
smartphone but a worthless piece of metal, so I gave the shop a call to ask for an explanation.
They told me that it was a case of fraud, and the postman may have swapped the smartphone as it was
of great monetary value. The shop assured me that they would either give me a refund or deliver a brand-
new one within two days, and I opted for the latter option.
I was pretty contented with the way the shop handled the issue. It was so professional of them, really.

1/ Tell me some bad services in Vietnam?
Như một vấn đề thực tế, tôi sẽ nói rằng có một số dịch vụ thất vọng ở Việt Nam mà bạn có thể gặp phải.
Trong một số nhà hàng đông khách, nhân viên phục vụ thường không để ý đến khách hàng, và thậm chí
nói chuyện bất lịch sự với họ. Nó thật sự xấu hổ khi nói về. Gian lận trực tuyến là một dịch vụ kém mà
bạn có thể gặp phải không may thật sự!!. Nhiều người, thậm chí cả tôi, đôi khi đặt hàng trên internet,
nhưng các mặt hàng được giao thường là hàng giả hoặc hàng kém chất lượng. Có quá nhiều trang web
sử dụng các công cụ tiếp thị lừa đảo mọi người bằng cách sử dụng hình ảnh thực từ các cửa hàng thực
nhưng sau đó phân phối các mặt hàng chất lượng siêu kém cho người mua, điều này thường dẫn đến sự
thất vọng của khách hàng.
As a matter of fact, I would say that there are some disappointed services in Vietnam that you might
encounter. In some crowded restaurants, waiters often keep ignoring customers, and even talk
impolitely to them. It’s really shame to talk about. Online fraud is another poor service that you might
experience unfortunately. Many people, even me, sometimes place orders on the internet, but the
delivered items are often fake ones or low-quality ones. There are too many websites that use
marketing tools to cheat people by using authentic pictures from authentic stores but then distribute
super-poor quality items for buyers, which often leads to customers’ frustration.
2/ Many people do not make any complaint even they got bad services? Why?
Sau một chút suy nghĩ, tôi cho rằng một số người có thể thấy nó khoan dung với những sai lầm của
người khác đơn giản vì họ có những điều khác cần quan tâm và có xu hướng quên đi các dịch vụ tồi rất
nhanh. Một lý do khác có thể được trích dẫn là một số người cảm thấy khó đưa ra sự phàn nàn vì họ
không muốn làm cho người khác bị tổn thương và cuối cùng họ giải quyết bằng cách không chọn loại
dịch vụ đó thêm một lần nữa. Theo tôi, tôi không nghĩ đó là một ý tưởng tốt. Chúng ta nên khiếu nại và
viết đánh giá cụ thể về các dịch vụ tồi, điều này có thể giúp ích cho các khách hàng tiếp theo rất nhiều.
After a bit of thought, I suppose some might find it tolerant with others’ mistakes simply because they
have other things to care about, and tend to forget about the bad services very quickly. Another reason
can be cited is that some find it hard to make any complaint because they dont want to make others
hurt, and they end up with not choosing that kind of service one more time. However, I dont think it is a
good idea. We should make complaints and write about specific reviews about bad services, which can
help the next customers very much. That’s why the review posts on every website are always reliable
and trustworthy.

(1) I dont think online shopping will substitute physical stores. I have two reasons
for that. First, people still go with conventional shopping simply because they
want to have physical touch on items or goods they want to buy. Doing this
kind of thing can prevent people from buying fake or low-quality goods on the
internet, and people can get a sense of relaxation from making shopping trips
in reality. Second, shopping is deemed as an activity which can generate
revenue for people in many countries that depend on tourism like HongKong,
and Thailand, Vietnam, so traditional shopping this time still plays an
important role in promoting tourist to buy goods.

Thay thế hay (1) I think online museums will substitute physical ones. In the future, there is a

illustrated with 3D technology in the future. I think this is a positive trend
because people will become busy and don't have enough time to go to the
traditional museums, and they will choose the electronic museums because it
saves them time in the search for historical information. Next, the use of
cutting-edge technology in the museum will make these places more
attractive, obviously, now very few locals go to these places. But things will be
different in the future, who knows.
Consumerism (2) As a matter of fact, consumerism has gained in popularity and experienced an

market. People tend to buy more to meet the demands and this will make the
general economy thrive. From that job opportunities are also created and the
majority of people can earn lucractive income from flourishing economy. For
bad sides, consumerism can generate a sheer volume of waste, and this will
directly affect our environment. Soild will be polluted by plastic bags and other
toxic packaged items. In my poin of view, the government should have feasible
solutions to ease the growth of consumerism.
Companies (3) Factories, companies nowadays have been mushrooming everywhere,
and especially in metropolitan areas or bustling and hustling cities. In their process
environment of macnufacturing, they release a sheer volume of carbon into the air, making
the environment seriously contaminated, and thus our health will be affected
as well. Not to mention, Some factories have extremely poor water filtration
and waste treatment systems, which also directly pollutes the land and water
resources of local people. In my point of view, this is deemed as a negative
trend for all people.
Green (4) Green lifestyle and zero-waste lifestyle are becoming ubiquitous for all
lifestyle peoplee. It basically promotes people to use eco-friendly products and save
the environment by planting more. I think it is kind amazing if we share hands
to protect our green shelter. From that we could live in a friendlier
environment and stay healthy. Ya, that’s it.

(1) I am not certain for all students around the world, but in Vietnam, most sudents
often burn the midnight oil to study because they want to pass the exams with
flying colors. For vietnamese students, a good diploma is deemed as a passport
to access to all job opportunities, and earn lucractive income later.
(2) In Vietnam, education is not free for everyone, except for aspiring students
from impoverished families. Most of the vietnamese students have to share this
responsibility with the government, we still pay an amount of money for
schooling fees.
(3) In Vietnam, most students who come from public schools often have good
academic performance, but they come from different social classes. However,
in private schools, we can see 2 main groups of students. The first one is
students failed from the national entrance exams, and the other is students
were born with silver spoon in their mouth because the schooling fees of
private schools in recent years have been prohibitively expensive.
(4) As a matter of fact, pursing tertiary education is not the best way to achieve
success but deemed as the easy way to gain success to some extent. It is obvious
that you cannot become a doctor or a teacher without relevant qualifications
or if you are not well-trained and well-educated. Going to the university is the
good way for you to gain a wealth of specialised knowledge and practical skills,
which are often required by most employers nowadays. However, the history
also shows us some salient examples about people with resounding success
without completing 4 years of college like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates. They decided
to quit the uni simply because they dont want to waste time on too many
subjects which are irrelevant with their careers. However, I must repeat my
perspective that going the uni is till neccessary if you want to be successful.

(1) From my point of view, to some extent, if people oversuse the technology
advancements in communication, they will reduce the quality of their social
relationships. For example, if a person just depends on computers and phones
to have a chatter with their friends and relatives or even with other people
rather than to have real interactions , he will become socially isolated and has
tendency to lose some important contacts in his life. However, if we harness
technology in communication properly, we are able to keep in touch with
people at ease regardless of geographical distances. In this way, technology
actually contributes to expanding our social circles.
(2) AI has gained in popularity and experienced an unstoppable rise. It allows
people to boost their productivity, even take over human duties in dangerous
tasks such as mining. Not to mention, autonomous driving has also become
extremely ubiquitous thanks to AI. Howver, we are also facing with many
unprecendeted problems that AI brings humans. Malfuction is not uncommon
when AI or robots take a wheel is a salient example, which can endanger
humans or even put people in fatal situations. In addition, it is apparent that
the over-exploitation of AI can trigger some other problems such as
unemployment. In Japan, vending machines that replace street vendors are a
good example
(3) In some ways, I gotta admit that the proliferation of technology actually makes
people become lazier. For example, with portable devices,like phones, they can
order foods online instead of preparing meals at home or place items online
instead of going out and doing shopping for relaxation, all of which make people
become inactive and lead a sedentary lifestyle.
(4) When it comes to broken items, I will consider which one I could repair and
which one I woud like to replace. Because there are some kinds of electronic
devices like phones, computers, when it was broken or seriously damaged, I
find it hard to make it recovery completely. But I am also a deliberate
customer, I always consider about items I would buy to avoid wasting a great
deal of unnecessary money.

(1) I am very happy if the government can provide all citizens with free healthcare system
,simply because this will help all people, especially ones from impoverished families or
having very meagre-income, can have access to heathcare services and get themselves
cured. But I will be happiner and this will be fairer if citizens should be responsible for the
healthcare fees. This will save the government from national budget deficits, and saved
money could be invested in other fields,such as education or public amenities. One more
compelling reason is that paid health system will help avoid the situation of over-
exploitation of healthcare of some people who often take it for granted and whose
health is attributed to by bad living habits like smoking or using substances.
(2) It is a short-term plan if the government invest money in treatments for its citizens. It is
agreed that this solution will save human lives immediately and help sufferers have
access to healthcare systems and get themselves cured. But, for a long-term step, it is
very imperative when the government can allocate money to prevention. (yea,
prevention is better than cure). Obviously, if people’s health is significantly improved,
there would be fewer cases of treatments required in the future, and the government
at that time save a great deal of money, saved money, of course can be invested in other
fields. More importantly, investing in prevention is the best to for help people live
healthier and longer.
(3) It is hard to tell because what I see is people’s health is getting bad nowadays due to
serious pollution and unhealthy foods and the presure of work. I am living in Ho Chi Minh
city right now, and it is listed as one of the polluted cities around the world due to the
the sheer volume of carbon released into the air by a ton of factories and companies
mushrooming every year. From that, people will face with many respiratory diseases
such as lung or skin cancer. Unidentified foods or foods containing excessive amounts of
pesticides also directly lead to the deterioration of people's health. Not to mention that,
people are getting busy with their work, many keep ignoring doing exercies or getting
enough sleep, which also makes their health worse.

(4) To galvanize people towards a healthy lifestyle, it is very imperative for the government
to build more public amenities and facilities, such as parks, swimming pools, stadiums,
which will encourage people to stay away from the sedentary lifestyle or can find a place
to do exercises neaby their house. Besides, officials from the safety and food department
must regularly check the safety of food, the origin of the food, which will ensure
everyone consumes green and clean food.

flow if they are watching their favorite programs or can induce them to buy
unnecessary items.
(2) I dont know for sure but I can consider myself as a strict person, so, if I had kids,
I never let them get exposured to advertising too much, simply because there
are many kinds of ads inducing kids to buy toys or sweets, which somehow
develops the habit of pestering in kids.
(3) Everything has its own perks, although advertisings always trigger our curiosity
to buy more, but they provide us with the products’ information, and we can
keep themselves updated with a wide range of goods, and buy them when
needed. There are other ads conveying meaningful messages about life, and
promoting beautiful landscapes of nations. I think I love those ideas much. Ads
somehow inspire people.

different ways to think and do. When put in a group, we might experience some difficulty in
cooperating with each other or we might face problems in terms of setting the goal for
everybody to follow. So I think leaders are there to unite people and to lead them to success
together
(2) Well I suppose a leader should firstly be able to understand everybody, he needs to know
people very well, I mean he needs to know how each and every person is like, what they want,
what they are good at and most importantly what motivates them to do what they are good
at. And then, a good leader should be knowledgeable and experienced so that he can teach or
show other members of the group how to do things. Other than that, I think that the leader
should also be sympathetic so that people are emotionally touched and motivated
(3) I agree with this to some degree. To me competition is always a good thing. It is similar to the
concept of “natural selection” if you ask me, basically we will be encouraged to strive for
excellence and therefore promote the efficiency or effectiveness of what we do. But of course,
we should not overdo it and make the competition become too fierce. And in that case it might
become counter productive and demotivate people instead of encouraging them

you’re mentally, physically and also financially ready to live with another person. And this is
really an individual thing. It varies between people. Some people might think that 22 years old is
a perfect age to get married. It’s time when they just graduate from university and they want to
settle down. But for others, they might want to tie the knot in their early 30s because that’s
when they think that they have enough responsibility or financial resources in order to take
good care of their family and also their kids and themselves.
(2) I am certain that the roles of both genders have changed significantly. It is obvious that the
world today has become more balanced in terms of gender equality. We can clearly see many
of the great contributions of women to the society in terms of science and politics whereas men
can be seen taking care of domestic problems such as cooking and cleaning. Personally I think
this is a beneficial trend as we have the freedom to do what we are good at, regardless of the
gender
(3) Some reasons can be cited for this emergence of this problem. Many young couples today
decide to give birth late simple because they want to focus on their career, and of course they
will have much more time to devote themselves to their career instead of taking care of their
children all day long. Some opt for having babies late as they would like to have more freedom
to travel or take up a course they like, which can increase their level of happiness.
