Job Title - Telemetry Supervisor ( Supervisor - RTU/Adaptation )

Contract Duration : 12 Months with possible extension


Job Location : Qatar

Educational Requirements
 Electrical Certificate. With 15-20 yrs. Erection & Commissioning Experience in Electrical
circuits/ wiring, control Hardware & RTU (Essential), system integration

Experiences
 Electrical wiring & Good knowledge in Electrical fundamentals.
 Good oral / written communication skills
 Good knowledge on electrical networks, drawings and instrumentation (TMMC, Relay Panel,
CT, VT)
 knowledge on technical environment connected to RTU, Telecommunications, DCS Gateway
Environments.
 Team Player with good interpersonal relation skill (Vendors, employees, client, sub‐
contractor)

Purpose of the Job


 Interfaces with customers on all RTU/TDB/Battery Charger related installation, tests, and
solve issues, as per contractual requirement.
 Technical review of field designs and works with RTU, marshalling, LV/HV control panels for
adaptation work, etc. to ensure that project requirements are met under
RTU/Telecom/Control centre interface at substation.
 Erection, Commissioning material plan involved in substation RTU / TDB /Telecom/ Battery
and Battery charger erection, local/E2E test, commissioning, adaptation work etc. under
SCADA work.
 Provide necessary feedback, when requested, about existing equipment, Client procedures /
regulations to the design departments in Local. Also, coordinate with SCADA Engineers to
solve technical problems on site.
 Prepare method statements, test and quality procedures relating to the work in substations
and validate with SCADA Engineer.
 Ensure the timely completion of site work at multiple stations.
 Assist the shutdowns and witnessing / inspection of work by client
 Ensure the implementation of safety and quality standards by all SCADA installation,
Adaptation, commissioning teams
 Conduct the calibration and maintenance of test equipment keeping a tracing record of the
Test Instruments calibration certificates, condition of test instruments. To produce the
calibration certificates as requested.
 Daily/ Weekly reports of main actions performed, and main problems identified to Team
Leader.
 Integration of the Cubicle, Modifying the existing RTU/TDB/Telecom/Tele ‐protection Panel as
per the design requirements.
 Submitting the final report, clearance document and red mark ‐up to Project assistant,
immediately after completion of the work.
 Preparation of Red mark‐up during the execution and keeping a copy of Red mark ‐up at
Substation and at NCC.
 Preparation of detail design document.
 Assist Telecom Commissioning Team during the commissioning works, link establishments.
