Job Description Junior Mechanical Engineer

Report To: Project Office manager

Description
The Mechanical Junior Engineer will perform all activities associated with mechanical
Project work for Repi soap and detergent PLC. This includes close interaction with
project teams in a positive and focused manner to realize project completion. Clear inter-
departmental communication is necessary. The individual must also provide accurate and
high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Role and responsibility

 Communicate information about Material availability
 Maintain the outlook of the site through dusting, cleaning
 Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems
 Assist Contractor when asked
 Developing CAD project drawings and reviewing drawings
 Completes technical studies
 Completing data logs required onsite
 liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. Contractor
 To ensure that all transaction documents are well archived for easy retrieval
 Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests
 Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculates time
requirements, sequences project elements
 Controls project plan by approving
 Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
and trends and recommending actions
 Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and
regulations
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing relating results as needed
 Oversee day to day operations of the site
 Provide for site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures
 Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor fire
alarm control panels and another emergency equipment
 Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file
accident reports
 Handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Required Education and Experience

 B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or
training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
