INTRODUCTION

The modern world of business today has formulated effective competitive strategy due to
the existence of so many competitors. Our management has to improve the service and
commodities to be offered to the consumers.Consumers are considered as the lifeblood of every
business for they are the one who patronage the goods and services offered by a certain company.
Their satisfaction and loyalty are the main goal of every business; therefore every business will find
its way to attract consumers.

BIGKIS™ Keychains is indeed one of the establishments that find means, not only to attract
consumers but also to provide the need and satisfaction of every buyer. BIGKIS ™ Keychain will make
its way to produce a product that other Keychain Manufacturers can’t give; hence we can provide
the service and quality that they want. Keychain has already exist since the time that somebody
needs to have a holder for his keys due to his duty as prisoner officer that handles a great number
that needs to be organized. Until such time that it is use not just for holding key but also for
souvenirs, bottle openers, nail clippers, lighter, flashlight, compass, and for promotions in business
and politics fields and other several uses.
There are several of Media shops that produce keychain in Davao Region. Max Media,
JabbesandTronixis some of the manufacturers of keychain here in Panabo City.

Objectives Of The Study


a) To help the management of the company evaluates its present condition
b) To formulate alternative courses is action prior to the operational efficiency of the firm
c) To provide findings and recommendations pertaining to the firm’s present conditions and
problems

Methodology
For the business to exist, we conduct a research to help us gather information to become a
profitable and successful in Keychain Industry. The following are the Methods of our Research:
Descriptive Research - refers to the characteristics, features, design and expression of how the
data are being gathered and researched through various research
instruments.

Research Instruments - refers to the instruments we used in conducting research regarding the
study.
a) Interview the owner of the business
b) Survey the area, servicing and other aspects of the business
c) Read their Company’s Documents and Records
d) Go to the Libraries for additional information; and
e) Ask in the Government Agencies that provides reliable information about small business
likeDepartment of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Statistics Office (NSO), Licensing
Office, and BIR.
f) Our groups choose an existing establishment – the TRONIX located at Gaisano Grand Mall
of Panabo, and then we prepare questions to which we can ask in the said establishment.
Then:
 We visited TRONIX to conduct our study.
 Our team leader asks permission to the manager/owner of Tronix to allow us to
execute our study.
 We conduct the interview with Manager and gather the data that we need to help
us complete our business plan.
 Some of our members observed the on-going operation at that moment, some
volunteered to have experience being one of the employees in the business
g) Lastly, we formulated, finalized, interpret and analyze the data and information

Scope and Limitations of the Study


The scope of the study focuses on the four functional areas of a business entity which are
the marketing plan, production plan, organizational and management plan and financial plan. The
four functional areas of the business focus on the Industry that our group has intended to build and
its servicing concerns. The limitation of the study is only for the manufacturing service that we want
to conduct.
